Question about BLT booking

Hi,
We are owners at The BLT and BWV and are hoping to book a long weekend in Dec. As an owner I know I can book tommorrow with my BLT points, but can I also use some of my BWV points to complete the reservation or do I have to wait for the non-owner day? The new point chart has left us a few points short!

You can only use BLT points starting tomorrow. You cannot use the BWV points until non-owners can make reservations and then you are also subject to the seven month window so you won't be able to use those for Dec at BLT until you can call in May 7 months out.

Thanks for the reply. For some reason I had a brain freeze was thinking it was in the 7 month window. If the ressie were before Sept 7th could I use my BWV points to finish the ressie even tho the date for non-owners is later? My question is probably confusing, but with the earlier opening date of BLT owners with points elsewhere could possibly book a week earlier with their non BLT points at the 7 month window before those non-owners. Well, back to the drawing board to figure out how to get what I want.

Only BLT points may be used tomorrow, but non-BLT points may be used for reservations within 7 months starting on February 22.

No, you can't use your resort points from other resorts until the open booking time even if you are within the 7 month window. You can only use the BLT points on the 8th. Sorry.. but basically the other points are considered to be "non-owner" points.

I know DVC's statement is confusing and we called to verify this and forced them to ask managers so I am pretty confident it is the case. DVC say's people with an owning interest can book and doesn't say anything about using other points, but from what we found out, they are saying it is ONLY your BLT points on the 8th and you'll have to wait for the open booking date for any other points.

In this case and when talking about the 11-month window, we talk about owners vs non-owners when it fact it's all about the points. The initial booking window for BLT is for home resort points only. It isn't being an owner that matters, it's having enough of the right points that matters. I don't own BLT but I expect that if I had some BLT points transferred to my account, I could call on Sunday to book BLT using those transferred points, but none of my points from other resorts of course.

The new points chart doesn't go into effect until 2010. So either you're looking at the wrong chart for booking December '09 or you're about 11 months early in booking December 2010.

Couldn't he book them with borrowed 2010 BLT points in addition to his 2009 BLT points?
