Question about bedroom windows in Patterson

I'm planning on rooming in Patterson. And I just had the thought about window blinds...I know they come with window blinds, but I have really cool bamboo blinds in my room right now, and wanted to see if by chance the inches across of the apartment bedroom window in Patterson would be the same as mine. =) And I know it's probably not allowed anyway, but it was just a thought I had a minute ago.

I'm assuming it's not allowed. I'm told people get in trouble for even drying clothes or towels on the balcony, so I'm guessing replacing the blinds is a definite no-no.
