Question about banking and borrowing

Just did my first banking of points for use next year. I want to make sure I understand things, so let me run a scenario past y'all. I want to take my sister and her family to WDW. Grand total 7 ppl (4 adults, 3 kids)

Have 160 pts June UY BLT
Want July 2010 2Bd SV Kidani & a studio SV Kidani 5 nights S-Th= 310pts
and
2 bd at Vero 4 nights Su-Th 136pts TOTAL 446pts

So I banked 2009/2010 pts 160
get 2010/2011 pts 160
borrow 2011/2012 pts 126 = 446

Now my sister's situation can be unpredictable. What happens if I book all this at 7mos out and then in June she says they can't go? What will happen to the points I banked and the points I borrowed?

The banked and borrowed points have to be used by 5/31/11. You could still bank the 160 2010 points. If the cancellation is 30 days or less prior to check-in, they will go into a holding account which means they can only be rebooked 60 days or less before check-in and all would have to be used by 5/31/11.
