Question about background check paperwork.

Hello! So recently I was sent some paperwork on my dash for a background check before I am accepted. (I checked yes on misdemeanor) do any of you have experience with this? How long can it usually take to be cleared with a background check and what are the chances of being accepted?! Thank you.
