Question about Animal Crossing:CF

Hello Everyone,
I purchased this game for our Wii system back in December and quickly became addicted. This addiction was broken on Feb 23rd when some teens broke into our home and stole all of our video gaming systems along with the games. The teens were caught but not before they'd sold off the merchandise. Last night I purchased another AC game off Amazon. My question is whether I have to start completely over or is there some way I can access my previous town information. I know with my previous game, whenever I tried to play on a different Wii system (at my parent's house for instance) the game would start completely over. TIA!

Sadly, you will have to start again as the save data is on the console rather than the disc

You will need to start over completely (with all of your grass!).

Write down a list of everything you can remember that you had or regret losing, including bank balances, house upgrades, town upgrades, hybrids, etc.

Send that to me in a PT along with your friend code. We can get you everything back in a couple wifi sessions, and once we have visited once I can send more in the mail.

Oh man, thats terrible! I'd be distraught if that happened to me, but all my gaming stuff is my most expensive and most loved possessions!

Its soooo tempting to go and buy an ethernet adapter for my Wii so that I can be sociable with you guys on AC, since I have a small hankering for wanting to play it... (my addiction has really been Lego Star Wars recently... maybe thats why I'm not addicted to AC???)
