Question about Alamo vehicles

Hi there! I apologize if this has been asked before but I have a question regarding Alamos vehicles. We are arriving at Tampa airport and I have two reservations booked. One is for a full size suv and the other is for a standard suv. What is the majority of suv's available for the full size line? I seen that it says Tahoe but I don't know if that is the common vehicle they rent in that class.
Last time we went we had a standard suv and it said Santa fe and when we got there it was a ton of Buick enclaves. Since my husband gives me severe panic attacks when driving it will only be me that is doing the driving and I don't want to rent a suv that is too big for me to handle. Thanks in advance for any help!

We rented from Alamo in Hawaii and the standard SUV option seemed to be more crossovers - Equinox, Rogue, etc. I would imagine the full size SUV are the larger models like a Traverse, Acadia, maybe even a Tahoe.

Not sure if this would happen in Tampa, but we arrived later on in the afternoon and they were out of midsize cars which is what we had rented. They allowed us to choose what we wanted from the full size row at no charge, so thats a possibility depending on your arrival time and when you're traveling. Also, each time we've rented from Alamo, we could walk up and down the row and picked the car the felt best to us so we had some options at least.

I'm just worried I'll get there and the full size will be way too big for me to drive. I do like the extra space and since it's only $15 more then the standard suv I booked it. If they are too big for me to drive..I wonder if they'd let me go to a standard size. I'm only 5 foot and drive a little Malibu lol.

I am about your size and would not want to try a full size SUV with a panic prone spouse. Florida traffic is wild and parking is often tight. I would downsize if it were me.

If you are not 100% sure you can handle a large vehicle like a Tahoe, which is quite possible to get, then only book what you can comfortably handle. As a PP mentioned the FL traffic can be crazy so that may add to your stress if you are not used to it.

I tend to agree with PPs. Even if it's something like a Traverse, which is a touch smaller than a Tahoe, it would be too much for me to comfortably drive. And I drive an Equinox every day.
