Question about Akershus

I really loved Akershus when it was all buffet and no Princesses.

Then I liked it fine when it was cold buffet/bring out the entrees.

But the the Princesses invaded, the buffets went bye bye, and the not only brought out the entrees, but also small cold-bordt selections on a plate.

Now I heard the cold buffet is back.

Does anyone know if this is true.

I can handle the Princesses and the entrees if the cold buffet is back.

My DD17 and I went in October of last year and there was a cold buffet of several types of herring in various preparations and cheese and salads. Then we had entrees and of course princesses.

We went in March 2006 and we had the Cold Buffet with the main meal delivered to the table. I thought it was good.

Deb Wills' website is showing princess meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as of January 2006. There hasn't been any update to that information since then.

From reading threads when they brought back the cold buffet, it sounds like the new cold buffet isn't as extensive as it had been previously.

Having been a regular in the past, and going there for our first Princess meal last December, I can say that the cold board is as good and extensive as it was in the past. The extra $10.00 for lunch, now includes beverages and desserts. I would prefer if it went back to the original format, as the atmosphere now is quite chaotic, but my dd3 absolutely loved meeting the Princesses.
