We're flying out of Buffalo. We have a digital camera. Can we leave it in my carry-on to go through the screening/x-ray or will we need to take it out and show the security personnel?

Ive never gone through Buffalo, but when traveling I ALWAYS have my digital camera in my carry on. I also carry a garmin GPS in my pack.
When it goes throught the xray, they usually say something at the other side to the effect.."You have electronics in your bag?" I say yes and they sometimes ask me to turn them on. They are just checking to be sure they really are what they appear to be. other than that its never been a problem

We've flown out of Buffalo the last couple of times and never had a problem with cameras, cell phones, etc. Lots of business travellers go through with laptops too. We've never been asked to take them out and turn them on or anything.
