Question about ADR's and confirmation

I made our ADR's about a month ago for September. I called back a few days later and added one and also confirmed the previous ones. I have read on the board about people having ADR's cancelled (I have none double booked, but we have days that 2 are scheduled b/c we want bfast and dinner at a special restaurant)--do I need to call again to confirm? They are confirmed with a phone number, not a ressie number. Thanks!

Did you get a confirmation number for the ADR? If you did, I wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't call and confirm it. If you are still nervous about it, when you get to your resort ask them to print off your ADR's for you.

They won't cancel them thinking you are double booked if one is for breakfast and one is for dinner. I too book using my tele and not my reservation.

once i've made our ADRs, i don't call back until the week we're leaving - and then, it's to re-confirm everything - that way, if there's a problem, i still have time to (hopefully) fix it - but i keep all the ADR confirmation numbers aside and ready just in case disney can't find them...

The cancellation happens when someone books two meals for the same time (or in the same time frame). So two dinners, two lunches, two breakfasts. Not if you booked one breakfast and one dinner on the same day.

The method of how the reservation was made (phone number or reservation number) has nothing to do with anything. It's just so the operators can pull it up easier.

Personally, once I make a reservation I don't call back. I have the confirmation number so if I arrive and anything is amiss, they will take care of it.
