Question about adding a day to reservation

Hey everyone,

Just have a quick question about adding a day to my reservation for January. I booked the Pop for January 10-14 with the winter resort rate code. If I want to add January 9th to the reservation can I still get the discounted room rate for that extra night? Any help is greatly appreciated.

we did this exact thing on Saturday for our 2/25-2/28 trip. We added 2/24 on December 4th's phone call. We are staying at the WL and we got the same rate for the 2/24 as we did for 2/28 (we used the BDP code when we originally booked the room) Try it...see what happens.

We added a day and got the BDP rate after the expiration date. Not only that, but when were at POR last June, we decided to stay and extra night on our last day. WDW gave us the same code rate as we'd had for the other nights. I didn't even have to ask.

Abe, please let me know how this works out for you. I called CRO and tried to add an extra night to my existing ressie using the BAT code. I booked originally with the BAT code and when I tried to book an additional night (also using BAT) I was unable to since the BAT code had expired. I called three times and was told the same info. each time (unable to book with an expired code). I ended up having to book the additional night at rack rate.

hey riu, just got off the phone with cro and wasn't able to do anything since i booked my ressie online, was told that system was down until at least tomorrow and to try back then...i'll post here with results when i do find out though

How did it go? I would like to add a few days to my exsisting reservation, but am afraid to call unless I know the potential outcome. I really don't want to loose the rate/dates I already have by fishing for something else. Thanks!

hey be,

i added the extra day at the same (discounted) rate, was no problem. Also, before I actually asked the CM to do it I made sure that the new rate total would reflect the discounted rate. Hope it all works out for ya!

I just did the same thing you're doing. I had to make the day a whole different ressie because they had no more rooms available at the BDP rate. My date is for the same time period as you so I have a feeling you'll have the same problem.
