Question about add on and incentive

I understand there is an incentive with the add on purchase of 50 points or more. I'm thinking of adding on 50 points at AKV, but I've got a question.
Can we buy two 25 point contracts and still get the incentive, or does it have to be one 50 point contract?

They should be able to split a 50 point add-on into two 25 point ones if you want. The only restriction may be if you want to finance the purchase, they may require you to have at least 50 points per financed contract.

I thought the incentive was with an add on of 100 points or more. If it's with 50 points could you explain please?

I can confirm it is 50 points. While I was at SSR last week, I popped in on my guide since he asked me to visit when I was in town. He basically said they are expecting SSR to sell out soon. They lowered the $10 discount for add-ons to 50 points from 100.

He also mentioned that there will be a price increase soon....possibly once SSR is sold out and prior to other projects being announced. He didn't give a firm amount but he hinted it could be as much as $10 per point. This is when he mentioned if I am thinking about adding on to do so now and mentioned the discount above.

I asked if the Contemporary was one of those projects and his response was, "that's one of the ones I am not allowed to talk about." So he didn't confirm or deny it, but it also seems that there may be other things in the works.

Don't guides usually hint that a price increase is imminent? A $10 per point increase is unlikely imho.

I do think that they are trying to move sales along at SSR and AKV. But the new incentive could also be a reaction to member requests and the economy. If this encourages more small add ons, better for DVC. Someone thinking of an add on but on the fence, may go for it now. If I hadn't just added on in January, I might consider it. If the incentive is still in place in 6 months to a year, 50 more AKV points could be mine!

Is the gift card included in the 50 points?

Both the e-mail I received from DVC and the flyer I got through the mail advertise a $500 gift card with a purchase of 100 points or more. I haven't seen a gift card offer with anything under 100 points.
