First off, please don't post advice saying to take it to the Disabilities board ok? Please?

Ok my question. Has anyone stayed in an accessible room with a roll-in shower? Meaning a shower w/ a bench seat attached to the wall?

Thanks!

Yes I have. I don't use a wheelchair but I have bad knees and stepping in and out of the showers are not good. As a matter of fact at the CR in 2001 I fell doing this I had lovely black and blues all over my left side. I try and request roll-in showers all the time. Hope this helps. :wizard:

Yes. We were given a HA room in Dec. 2003 at WL. It had a roll in shower and a fold down seat. It was a pool view room on the VWL side of WL. It was on the first floor. The room had a king size bed. I was pleased with the room, but DH was not. The view was actually an upgrade from what I had booked. The only problem I had was that I did have trouble with keeping the water from running out of the shower. I had to use a towel to keep from making a mess.

slimpaw, I have heard other complaints about the shower thing too. I can honestly say I have never had a problem with that. :confused3
