Question about AAA discount

My fiance has AAA. I do not. I know when you make room reservations they ask for everyone's names. If I put a reservation in my name can we use his AAA for the discount or will we have to put the reservation in his name to get it?

I would think that the reservation would need to be in his name if he has the AAA.

I second the above. Just one other thought here. Depending on when you are going and where you are staying, there is a VERY high probability that discounts other than AAA will save you more $$$.

Thanks. I remember reading a post somewhere concerning AP discounts. I think it mentioned that you were eligible for the discount even if only your child had an AP. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, I thought if that were true then maybe it would work with AAA.

We will hopefully be camping at FW in September if everything goes as planned. I thought I would book with the AAA rate for now since it's better than nothing and then see what happens with codes later.

AP discounts at FW won't be worth it unless you are staying in their cabins, etc. AP rules are that the person who makes the ressie needs an AP at check in, no one else needs to have one. Check for codes around 2 months before your visit at mousesavers.com

We booked thru my AAA office, I have AAA but my friend does not, but the ressie is in his name. They didnt give us a problem

I don't think it's a problem that the room would be in your name and the AAA card is his. His name would be listed as a guest in the room so I can't see how they would hassle you. Half the time, they don't even check the card.

I think you'll be fine.
