Has anyone stayed at the Buena Vista Suites advertised on the DIS site? If so can you tell me if you enjoyed it, if it was clean and the rooms as nice and spacious as the photos show. I can't judge a hotel by the photos they never look the same. Thank you to anyone who can help.

You will probably get more responses on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board since Buena Vista Suites is not a Disney resort.

We stayed there is April, 2002 when my daughter's HS softball team played at Disney's Wide World of Sports. The suite was large and clean. The living room had a table, 2 chairs, sleeper sofa, chair, tv, small fridge, vcr, sink, coffee maker and a microwave. The bedroom had 2 queen size beds, bureau with 6 drawers, armoir with an iron and ironing board, tv. Between the bedroom and living room was the bathroom with toilet and tub/shower on one side and the sink on the other side.

They have free breakfast every morning. The pool was average size, not heated when we were there is Mid-April. There was also a spa. The hotel is located near the parks, DTD and the Crossroads area and I-192 Kissimmee.

so much for your response and advice. I will post it on the orlando hotels and attactions board as you suggest. I usually stay at the Buena Vista Palace (Wyndham) in Downtown Disney but they are renovating the floors I usually stay on and I was just wondering if I should try the Buena Vista suites or just take another floor at the BVP. thanks again

wdwlovers. We stayed at the Buena Vista Suites once, but it wasn't exactly for fun. We live on the SW coast of Florida, and we headed to Orlando when Hurricane George was barreling down on us. Most of the guests in BVS that day were in our same situation, and I thought the hotel did a nice job of accommodating everyone. I don't think the property is as nice as the Palace, but it's not bad. The rooms are laid out in typical "Embassy Suites" style, with a small but functional living room that leads to a back bedroom. You have a little sink/microwave/fridge area, a small table suitable for dining for 3, two televisions, a pull out sofa, etc. Nothing special, but you have everything you need. The pool area is smallish, as I recall, but the dining room/bar area is comfortably sized. Personally, I don't think we'd go back, but I don't have any real complaints about the place either.
