Question about 9-day ticket and check-in

Our dates for our stay are 3-1-20 to 3-9-20. I am pretty sure that in the past we were able to do 9-day tickets and able to use our tickets the day before, like on 2-29. Is that no longer possible? I noticed when I made the reservation, they said your tickets will be valid 3-1 to 3-12. Is there something I can do to change that or has the policy changed? The last time we did this was probably 4-5 years ago.

Tickets are date-based now (unless you pay extra for the flexible option) and have a specific "start date". if you booked a package your start date would coincide with the check in date of your hotel.

You might be able to have them change your start date, but if it was booked with a package that required tickets (like free dining) I don't believe they can make that change. Hopefully someone else can verify what the case is for package tickets, this is just my understanding of them.
