Question about 2fers and suites by disneyland

I have a coworker here from Shanghai, and I offered to drive her to disneyland (we're in san diego) if she had the company pay for our hotel So it will be my GF, me and her.

I'm looking to go in 2 weeks, staying Friday and Saturday night March 27th and 28th. I have 2 questions

1) Since she is from Shanghai, can she use the 2fer ticket? It says socal residents.... How does this work? We did the 2fer last year and don't remember any drivers license checking

2) Are there any suites in the area (with shuttle or by ART) that is around $125 per night? How about the quality inn and suites on manchester? I am looking for a place with a divided living area so my GF and I can stay in 1 room and she can stay in another.

We like Staybridge Suites on Manchester. It has separate bedrooms and is on an ART route. We have booked through GetAwayToday with them for around that price, I believe.

For the 2fer ticket, we have used them several times before we got our APs and we have never been asked for IDs. I guess it would be at your own risk, but I highly doubt they would ask her for ID.

Since you will be buying her ticket and you will be with her when she activates the ticket, there will be no problem from what I understand.
