Question about 2 yr old eating while everyone on DDP.

Will they bring me an extra plate to put some of my food on for him at non-buffet meals? He is not to type of kid to actually eat off my plate. & does he get his pown plate at buffets even though he is free?

Also, for the places where we order for him, do I just tell them I'm paying for his meal OOP?

& last question, sorry. If I have a picky 15, 13 & 10 yr old on the DDP & there's nothing on the adult menu they want/like, can they order off the kid's menus instead?

Yes they'll bring you a plate at non-buffets. Just ask.
At buffets you can make them their own plate, no charge.
If you want to pay for a meal for them no problem.
At most places the picky eaters can order off the kids menu. What you may want to look at is paying OOP for some of those meals and using them on another meal.

It's been awhile since my kids were two...but when we went with DDP a few years back - they would bring you an extra plate to put a 'share' of your stuff onto. Also - no problem with buffets - you can fill his own plate at the buffet - and his own drink.

Don't forget about just ordering an extra 'side' to offer him if it works out.

Yes, 'adults' on the dining plan should have no problem ordering from the kids menu. Also, at TS places, you might find that they'll do an 'adult portion' of a kids meal.

We have been in the same situation as you. What everyone else has been saying about your 2 yr old is true. Also just wanted to add that you don't have to get the complete kids meal (app, entree and dessert). We just get the entree for our little one since she won't eat all that food, plus its cheaper. Most sit down places are ~$5-6. I will have to say that I am not a buffet person (I actually hate them with a burning passion) but they have been our most favorite meals just because of the wide variety that we can get for our child. Also if you are going to CRT they will give you a free meal for anyone under 3. It was plain ravioli and an ice cream sundae with a chocolate crown the night we were there.
