Question abou tickets and dining

This may not be the right thread but my DGd will be celebrating her bday with us on our next visit. We are going 12/4-12/10, she is 2 but will turn 3 on 12/9. Do I still need to buy tickets/dining plan for the entire week or just after she turns 3? And do I need to let dvc services know ahead of time?

Since she will be 2 when you check-in, Disney will consider her a 2 year old for the length of that resort stay.

Since she starts the trip as a 2 year old, she gets to stay a 2 year old the entire trip so no ticket or DDP required.

Now, if you want her to be able to have her own meals (and not share with others), you would have to list her as 3 from the beginning and then pay the DDP for the entire time.
