Quest pin issue and Thanks to VMK_Runo

I completed the autotopia quest. Was all excited, went to put on my new pin and didn't have it. I got the finished quest message, but no pin.

I figured because of all the issues with DC I might have to do it again. Went back to start another and it wouldn't let me, said I had already completed it.

Great!! Had visions of never getting pin in my head.

Contacted VMK, and in the meantime saw Runo in his room. Stopped in and he was very nice and talked it over with me and said he would make a note of it in his notes.

Shortly after leaving I got a message from VMK that they were aware of the issue and looking into and and thanked me for my patience.

Anyways, the point of this thread:

1. to let others that have the same issue know they are not alone, and VMK is looking into it.

2. to thank Runo for taking the time to assist me. (and I know for a fact that at least one cast member reads the boards, so he very well might also)

Hi the same thing happened to me and bangelboy and we are both in line for tomorrowland help room. This is non sense.

This is also exactly what happened to me. However, I'm not so optimistic about any results. VMK has shown in the past that it enjoys tormenting me to the brink of sanity, and I'm sure they would love to continue this yet again. I sure hope I get some help though. I'm always thankful for any help I recieve.

I'm glad for you. I just wish I could stay connected long enough to play the quest.

Why does the time count against you when you are dc?

Same here and i stink really, really bad at fireworks. lol
Gave it my all after a dozen games and end up in 3rd place
with 170,000 points.
Finished the quest and no pin. went to start over and it says i completed it and wont let me start it again.

I keep getting booted out of the HM game. I usually have over 20 ghosts caught and I may make it through the second round, but then WHAMMO! Back to the lobby and the quest thing says I still need 10 ghosts. I have even tried just capturing 10 but it still won't move.

GR! Anyone have any ideas?

Made it into the Tomorrowland Help line- they are taking down names of people who completed the quest and didn't get pin- I would suggest if you don't get into one of those rooms to send a message to contact us...

I didn't get the pin so I started to play second Autopia quest. Got the score in Fireworks game and it booted me from the quest. When I clicked on the Q it gave me the Animation quest thing. When I went back to Tomorowland and started second quest it started from the begining again... Maybe in a day or two it will be fixed.

EDIT: I finished the second Autopia quest and got the blue pin. Go figure. No pink pin though.

Wow, i got a personalized resonse from vmk?

Since the help rooms were closed now, i sent a help message to staff in vmk. I got back a response saying:

"MousseDude, thank you for your imput. We are aware and working on the problem and it should be fixed soon."

ok, a standard response, but i was surprised as heck to see my name in there.

now.......I dont know if fixed soon means we'll have the pin, or that we'll be able to start over???

That's awesome! I'm also a no pin weilder. Good to know it's being handled. Hopefully tomorrow I will wake up to my own autopia magic! Or at least my two everest chairs!

Did you get Blue or Pink? I finally finished the second quest and got the blue pin although it said you were supposed to get pink.

Oh, I wasn't even looking at the color. LOL. But, when I went into the track my car was blue. Hmmm...Good eye! I didn't even notice that!
