If your camper is not equiped with an air conditioner.....have any of
you purchased a window unit to use in your camper? If you have done
this did you have any problems? Hubby and I purchased a window unit
and were planning on placing in on top of our refridgerator and opening
the top part of our window to vent out the warm air. Any input is appreciated!

1st thing when are you going to be there?
2nd all you really need is a couple of small fans
3rd go to wal-mart and buy some of those emerges blankets that are silver and clothes pin them to the bunk ends
outside to reflect the suns rays.

Okay first I would not recomend doing that. I'm an RV Sales person and sell a lot of pop-ups. You would not have the amp power in your camper unless you had a pre-wire for an AC unit. Second you would have a problem with the condensor on the AC and have water in the camper. If you have a roof vent (14" X 14") what I tell folks to do is install a Fantastic Vent Fan. It is a 12V fan that will pull in or push out air. Hope that helps....
