Quelling Carb Cravings!

Hi, I'm new here, my weight gain started about 2 years ago, when I started working from home, and just kept snacking at the computer all day. One day I woke up, and none of my clothes fit!

My big weaknesses are bread, potatoes pasta and pretzels. I would like to try the South Beach Diet, but I don't know if I could make it those first two weeks!

Any suggestions?! I got a stationary bike for Xmas and have been using it 15-20 minutes every day, and have recently started taking daily walks, although I don't walk very fast or far, since I have my 2 year old with me. More of a daily amble.

The carb cravings will go away! The first two weeks are the hardest, but if you keep legal snacks readily available, you can do it!

I try to keep on hand: cheese sticks, hard boiled eggs, cut up veggies (green peppers, mushrooms, cucumbers, etc.), cooked chicken breasts, macadamia nuts, beef jerkey.

You can do it!!! Keep up the good work!! :banana:
