I will start this trippie off with an apology as this is the point from which I stopped writing a diary and so much of this is now based on 5 sentences of notes (for the whole week) and memory!!!
This morning, totally knackered after the previous day we decided a lazy day was needed. We realised we had yet to take in a water park so we decided thats what wed do for the morning. I hadnt yet done Blizzard Beach so the decision was easy, we chucked our gear in a bag and drove off to the park.
I dont really do water parks as I hate the rides but Scott enjoys them. We spent some time walking around looking at the place and coasting along on the lazy river. I figured out a way of riding an inner tube which allowed you to steer, accelerate and brake so I could navigate around the freezing drips of water which frequently poured over Scott! After a few hours I went and changed and got the camera out of the locker before following Scott around to several slides so I could get photos of him on them.
Once we were done (and had made the discovery that both of us had burned terribly) I got myself a giant red slushie and we drove off on our next quest, to find the Lake Buena Vista Outlets.
After a short while we found a road we hadnt yet driven up and lo and behold, there we found the outlets. We went into the TCD offices and booked the guest house and freetime check in options for our flight home. Nearby was a Disney outlet so we checked it out. I found a scrapbooking section and got some great bargains.
The previous week we had spotted some nice shoes at the Orlando Premium Outlets so we decided to head there for the afternoon. After lunch we hit the stores and came away with some new Sketchers each at very low prices. We decided to have our dinner at the Golden Corral near the outlets and, as always, enjoyed it immensely. The night was just beginning to draw in so we headed back to Summer Bay for a round of mini golf on their course and a swim in the pool before bed.
