Queen, Jasmine and a Disney Virgin...will he love it like we do?

Ack, missing out on Le Cellier! Oh well, at least the flights are finally booked and I can relax....I mean, you can relax! :rotfl:
I know, I'm sad too!!:sad1: Yup, put your feet up my friend...no need to worry now....relax!!!:lmao:

Glad you got the flights situated but sorry to hear you're going to miss Le Cellier. Hopefully there will be some openings and you can make some shifts. Good luck Queen!

I looked last night, but there was nothing....oh well I guess we need to be thankful we got the flights on sale:woohoo:

I hate that you are going to miss Le Cellier :(. If it is steak you want Grand Floridian Cafe has great steak. I think I enjoyed it more this past September than Le Cellier's, and GFC usually has an opening

:woohoo::banana::dance3:Single digit dance:banana::woohoo::dance3:

Thanks for the great tip....I am going to pop over after I post here and see if anything`s available there.:cool1:

Glad you got your flights taken care of! the not knowing would have been making me crazy! Hopefully you can get another LeCellier adr!

Thanks Dawn:hug: it was making me crazy and I just decided as I sat at work that I was going to change mine and just went online and booked the kids....it took 3 minutes...all that worry for nothing:rolleyes1I could kick myself.

I am so glad to hear you got the flights booked!!!! Sorry that you guys will be missing Le Cellier!! I agree with racefanof88 that the Grand Floridian Cafe has some great food!! I used to go all the time when I was younger, and we went in 08 while Abby was at the Wonderland Tea Party, and had a wonderful meal!! Plus we just walked up and they were not busy at all, so we got in right away. You guys must be getting soooo excited!!! Especiall now that the flights are booked!!

Thanks my friend:hug: I cannot believe we leave in a week, we`re so excited!!!

Oh zut, zut, zut!!!!! The 7th is the day that EM#1 has a mandatory Young Marines thing and it's the kind of thing that family needs to be at too. Arrrgggghhhh!!!!! Remind me again of any times you have free? What times do the parks close?

As for clothing, hard to tell. It's been up and down around here. A couple of weeks ago I had KC loading furniture in the sleet (hey, it was a great deal!) but this morning it was around 70 at 7AM and just getting warmer through the day. I would go ahead and bring hoodies and maybe a long-sleeved t-shirt kind of thing. That way you can layer up as needed.

Oh shoot, but family first my friend!! Let me look at my schedule and I will PM you.

Thanks for the clothing tips....I will do exactly as you say. I figure if the day is warm we can just rent a locker then when the sun goes down we can grab our hoodies.:yay:

One week until we leave to the travel to the happiest place on earth....so much to do...laundry, housework, packing....and I can`t do any of it. I can`t pull myself away from the tv....how the Haitian people are suffering and have suffered. My heart is breaking....every night Jasmine and I watch the news to remind ourselves how blessed we live where we live....I want to reach into the tv and pull those beautiful babies through it and hold them. I weep every night as I can`t imagine how it feels to be that thirsty and not have water, to be so hungry you`ll take the chance of being shot just to get a bite of food....how lucky we all are.

Our Governor General is from Haiti and when I saw her crying on the news the other night there, I wept with her. I am so proud that our Canadian soldiers are there helping with this effort, thank you for everything you do to keep us safe and that you leave your families to help others. You are truly heroes!!!

As I watch Hope for Haiti and I see the woman that was pulled from the rubble after six days alive, her husband never left the sight not knowing if she was dead or alive....I lost it....watching his face as he saw her....that was love like I`ve never seen.

I am going to take tonight off of planning, packing, laundry and housework to watch Hope for Haiti....

Less then a week!!!!!:woohoo: I'm so glad your flight is finally booked, I could have never made it that long;)

It really helps to put in perspective how blessed we are in our lives doesn't it?

I normally would be exactly the same way....flights are usually the first thing I book...you can always change your hotel but flights cost money to change. I've decided I'm not even looking at the Westjet site anymore, they are bought and paid for:rotfl2::thumbsup2

It sure does....when I see our soldiers on the ground it reminds me of my dad peacekeeping in Cyprus when Peg and I were young. He would send home videos of him and the other guys fixing bikes so the children had something to do....no matter where you are in the world a child is a child.

This time next week we'll be on our flight to Toronto:thumbsup2 I hope this Colorado low that hit last night will be long gone by then...they are now saying 30 centimeters for our city. I sent Jasmine a text yesterday with a list of groceries to go pick up because when these systems hit, it looks like it's going to be ugly. They are calling for blizzard conditions by tomorrow:confused3

On a positive note, I won't feel the urge to run around like a mad woman, I'll get all my housework, laundry, beds changed then during the week I just have to pack. My friend Brenda was supposed to be here by nine this morning (they leave same say as us for Mexico) to have coffee and a visit but I don't think that's gonna happen. They live at the opposite end of the city to us....I don't want her taking a chance witht he roads. They were also in Mexico for Christmas so we feel like we've hardly seen each other so we were in a state of withdrawal.:sad2: When she called to see I wanted some company today I said I would love that, then she said shall I bring my iron? Those of you that know me, know she's my friend who has an unhealthy obsession with ironing, packing and planning and I take full advantage of it:rotfl2: I will let you know later if she made it, if she doesn't, there will be no ironing happening here:rolleyes1

My heart breaks for the people in Haiti also. We are all very blessed.

I hope your friend makes it if it is safe to travel. I also hope you and Jas stay safe and warm. I have to admit my brain shut off at 30 cm. You know we measure weather in inches here. :rotfl2: It's been so long since I had to convert.

Have a great day getting everything cleaned and organized. In one week you will be at our happy place. :goodvibes

My friend did make it, iron in hand, at 9am just like she said she would. There was a few hours with no snow, but it started again:confused3 We do the same thing here when I said to Jasmine, It's 72 degrees in Orlando, she said what's that in our lingo....I said I don't know 22 degrees lol....I think cm to inches is almost 2 to 1....I think....:lmao:

I still have to get my kitchen floor washed, but I wanted a little bit of a break...and where better to have that than on the Dis:cool1:

Yeah, either PM me here or hit me up in facebook. BTW.. don't forget a windbreaker. A layer or two is great but something to break the wind can really make a LOT of difference.

Now listen to me... all this knowledge I got in Boy Scouts is finally coming in handy for something other than keeping idiot children that go camping in sub-freezing temps alive! :rotfl2:

I can`t pull myself away from the tv....how the Haitian people are suffering and have suffered.

Amen, amen, amen, amen. A lot of the flights are landing here at the Sanford International Airport (Sanford being where we ended up settling ... about 45 min NE of Kissimmee) so we're getting an extra view on the story. It's heart-breaking to think what they're going through. And humbling too. When I look around the house and see how it's coming together and I look in the pantry and see the bread, noodles, etc. and I look in kids' rooms and see that they have beds and clothing and all.... I'm just thoroughly humbled at the idea of "there but for the grace of God, go I".

Ok, I'll send you a message later today on Facebook,, once I have my morning coffee and get some more housework done, I really have to finalize everything.

Isn't that the truth "there but for the grace of god go I" so so true. Sometimes you just need to sit back and be truly thankful.....

Here is sit with my Sunday morning coffee, looking at a thick new layer of snow on the ground (and being thankful it came this weekend and not next) and thinking of all the stuff I have yet to do. What is wrong with me this trip?? I'm one of those OCD plans till your walking out the door kinda people.

Well today is gonna be the day!!:cool1: I just got out my purple (I know it should be lime green but they didn't have any) folder, bought some new index cards (yes I laminate them, and yes my family laughs at me) and have the print outs of our flights. Looks like I'm set to wrap everything up.

The last few trips I haven't put all the rides we'd like to accomplish each day, but being Thomas' first trip, I think I will this time. Don't want to miss anything:)

I still haven't booked another meal for arrival day....I'm still in mourning over Le Cellier:sad2:....but it isn't meant to be. I thought about the princess dinner in Norway but it's $35.99 a person:scared1: maybe I'm just used to the dining plan and not looking at prices:confused3 I'm actually leaning towards CS that evening, it will be quicker and maybe I will have time for a grey goose slushie or 5:rolleyes1

I guess I should get up and get moving.....

I am so excited for your trip!!!!!!! :woohoo:

I am sorry about Le Cellier but it just gives you a reason to go back :thumbsup2

5 days!! How exciting!!!:cool1:

I can't even tell you how I am feeling right now....I keep thinking "this time next week we'll be in the MK"....:cool1::lovestruc

You're absolutely right!! I just booked us in at the Princess Dinner in Norway....we did the breakfast 2 summers ago with my nieces and it was fun...saves time standing in line to see them. I think I will keep this one a secret too!!!

That Princess Dinner has always looked good and I love the breakfast there!

Be sure to take tons of food pictures!!! I am relying on you to tide me over for the next month ;)

I looked at the Princess meal for my upcoming trip too, but then I saw the price:scared1: What is up with that?!?

I won't let you down....last trip I almost forgot a few times but Jasmine reminded me....I'll tell her that's her one responsiblity this trip...remind her mother to take pics of the food:lmao:

I KNOW!!! I kept looking at it, then I went to the menus to see what exactly they have...I will absolutely let you know if it's worth it or not. It looks like an appetizer, entree, and dessert plus your drink....I think it's served family style, that's how the breakfast was when we went.....

Thanks, I'd really love to know if it's worth it! I really want to do a meal at EPCOT next trip and I was leaning towards there or Rose and Crown.
