Queen, Jasmine and a Disney Virgin...will he love it like we do?

:cool1: Yay for Thomas's passport!!!!!!

Today will be spent going through my clothes :sad2: that may take a while :lmao:

Hope you have a good weekend :flower3:

YAY I'm in!! What a wonderful Mommy you are!!!

Just a thought on the cake...last June I ordered DF a cake from the Boardwalk Bakery instead of through one of the restaraunts. I want to say it was only around $50 (not the $100 you mentioned) and it was to DIE for!!! Seriously the best cake I've ever had!! It was also big enough that we ate it for a few days!

Glad to hear Thomas'passport arrived. Sounds like everything is coming together :goodvibes Enjoy the family dinner :)

I always arrange my suitcases like that. Everyone has one main suitcase but everyone has one outfit in each other's as well. Plus we always carry a change of clothes, something fit to sleep in and a bathing suit in our carry-ons. My Mom worked for Wardair and Air Canada. So I've traveled space available and has delayed or lost luggage too many times to count. So instead I count on losing at least one piece of luggage.

I'm super nervous this next disney trip because I had to pack the kid's dance costumes. We're going because of a Dance competition at Coronado Springs. What happens if a piece of luggage gets lost then? It's not like I can buy a new one at Disney. All the dancers have to match. Tehy can't win if they don't match. I'm so nervous (and not just for my kids but all the kids in the group who are flying) that I'm hoping the people that are driving will take down our costumes.

Your plan sounds great. I've never been to the Plaza either. I'm not sure if we're doing the dinning plan this time round. We get a group deal through the dance competition but it means we can't add on the dinning plan. So I booked T-rex since it's not on the dinning plan. We've been to the rainforest cafe here in Toronto but I thought the kids might enjoy T-rex.

So I still haven't booked by room yet. Although I do have my airfare. I'm still hoping for a discount but I doubt one will come out for my time. The competition is over the July 4th weekend. But I can still hope.

I'm hoping airfare will come down for you soon. You're making me nervous.

So happy to have you along!!!:goodvibes Did you have to pick it up...it looks scrumptious:cloud9:

Yes, everything but those darn flights. But when I checked the Westjet site today, the sale they have goes to the 20th so the 21st I'll be up at the crack of dawn checking...if they're still high, I'm booking anyways....this is killing me.

Had a great family dinner ... ham, scalloped potatoes and turnip....all my fav's:love:

I had a flashback....Wardair...haven't heard that in years....took me back. I hear you about the luggage, you hope for the best and whatever happens happens. The costume thing would make me sick too....I hope the people that are driving can help you out!!!

We ate at T-Rex last summer...the kids are gonna love it!!!

Good luck with the room booking, you never know what can come up.

Thursday new deals are supposed to be out for flights....keep your fingers crossed for us. We have 3 flights to choose from the day we leave so one hopefully will come down in price.....right now its $465 one way!!!

DIANE.....I am so happy you're here:hug: I've missed you. I know all about life getting overwhelming...and then putting this trip together at the last minute...some days I think what was I doing:scared1: But I have to say I'm so excited....you know how they say everything happens for a reason...well 2 weeks ago Jasmine got laid off from her job and she was devastated, she loved her little job. I tried to put everything in perspective for her...she doesn't have to pay the mortgage, utilities, or car payment....and that she should be thanking me for insisting she put everything but $50 away from each cheque (it's the banker in me, save for a rainy day:confused3). If she hadn't gotten laid off we would only have been going for 4 days. Fortunately, lots of places are hiring.

Thanks for the wonderful comments....I can't wait to see Thomas when he sees everything. I asked him last night if he was excited and he said on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm at about an 11 and a half. ....I cracked up.

So happy you came on over:flower3: When I was reading your report about Courtney crying when you were leaving reminded me of the one and only time I went without Jasmine. When we arrived at the World and I called her she said I wish I had come now that you didn't die.....:confused3 My darling has a fear of flying and she just didn't have a good feeling about that trip, but she cried the entire week we were away.

I can't wait to compare stories of graduation....has Courtney got her dress yet?

Do you mean her prom dress ? She hasn't gotten it yet. We need to start shopping soon.

Hi Queen! Looks like everything is coming together. Great touring plans and ADR's. :goodvibes And Yay for Thomas getting his passport! :woohoo: You are under two weeks now!:banana::banana: Can you believe it???

Hi Queen, I'm coming over from Leanne's PTR. We took my DD boyfriend with us last May and it was fun, well, except for the rain. Looking forward to reading more of your report.

Yes we did pick up that cake. I suprised DF...we headed to the Boardwalk for lunch and I led him into the Bakery :)

Hi Queen!! Just popping in to say hi!! Glad to see that Thomas' passport came!! Can't wait to hear more final details!!

Oh my heavens!!! Yep, you surely beat me to it. In fact, I just got on and noticed there's 4 PAGES!!!! Wow!!!!! I guess you're really not Peg, huh?

I'll have to get back on and read this at lunchtime or after dinner. Got to get to work. One quick thought, though.... poor Thomas doesn't get a Disney nickname? That poor boy seems like such a diamond in the rough and is so good to his princess Jasmine that he should at least get Aladdin. Or maybe just Laddie, huh? :rotfl2:

Gotta run... catch you later.

I know can you believe it? It was so funny, last night Jasmine said, we're gonna be doing the single digit dance soon:banana: then proceeded to get up and show Thomas how the banana dance....I died laughing.

It looks so yummy....the other day at work someone brought in a birthday cake and half 3/4 of the staff said "I can't eat cake for breakfast" whatever.....more for us that can:cool1::lmao:

:welcome: I'm so glad you came over!!! I feel your pain with the rain...we were there when TS Fay decided to come and stay....our second week was rain every day.... No crowds though...;) We're sure looking forward to him coming with us....

Can I go out on a limb and assume you don't like turnip?

Hi Queen!! Just popping in to say hi!! Glad to see that Thomas' passport came!! Can't wait to hear more final details!!

Hey Tiff,

I got up extra early this morning just in case we had no water again...wasn't that the weirdest thing? Fortunately, I had already showered by the time the transformer flew, but I was shocked at how much of the city was affected.

No, clearly I'm way more efficient than my sister. :woohoo: This work is sure getting in the way of your Dis-ing!!! It's so funny that you say that, because we were just talking about giving him a Disney name....so since you brought it up Hypermommy....Aladdin it is.:rolleyes1

Still up for coming to see us? I will let you know which evening we're at DTD and maybe we could meet there? Let me know what you think. I wasn't sure if you had park passes yet.

Hi Raecheal:wave2:

The entertainment alone at 1900 Park Fare is worth going:yay:Those stepsisters are hysterical....the stepmother is as mean as they come....we laughed so hard we cried!! My niece had just turned 4 a year ago when we went there and she was quite concerned about the stepmother being mean to her. I said "Don't worry honey, Auntie's here and I can be way meaner than her" this put the biggest smile on her face and when she approached the table, I felt her little hand reach over to mine, look up at her and whisper, she's here Auntie. It was hilarious.

WPC was probably my favorite mean for the actual food. Isn't it funny at Disney how you look at so many different things when judging what's good and what you would skip next time:rolleyes1

That was so sweet of your niece, actually.

I am def. excited to have dinner at 1900 park fare for the first time. It is interesting how different people look at different things when judging what's good and what's not regarding dining. Glad to hear that the Passport came in!

I love to pack early... How exciting that your trip is 10 days away!!:woohoo:

I read your last TR and can't wait to hear how this trip goes! I brought my DBF to Disney hoping to convert him to a disney lover in aug. I think it worked cuz he wants to go back! I hope the same works out for jasmines DBF.
