There were also a few ducks but you can't see them in the shadows over the water.

This morning I went to see Tigers at Animal Kingdom and then had a quick visit with a friend.

A little later I'll walk into Epcot for a bit.
Adding in the ubiquitous white bird.

The male tiger: I also saw the female and the newest guy who is close to full grown now but both were sleeping.


Komodo Dragon - this guy fascinates me and I'm not particularly fond of lizards.



And to change gears a bit - the lobby trees at Boardwalk. They also have the gingerbread house and the goodies to buy and it's all very nice but I didn't bother taking a picture because I try to get them without people.


While I'm at it, here is the new Poly Tower tree. I didn't do it justice as I thought it was very beautiful in person.

Judique Great pictures. The komodo dragon looks like he is smiling at you. The Christmas trees are lovely. I love Boardwalk. I was there last December and now you are making me think I need to go next December. Have fun.

Good morning. It is a very cold 4 degrees here now. Temps are supposed to get to the low 20s today. I just want to get under alot of blankets and stay warm! I had an issue with Kohls which is very strange. Last year and the year before I sent clothes to Chris' cousin in her nursing home. No problem with the address, package received This year I used the exact same address as it is in my account. UPS sent the order back to Kohls saying problem with the address. I send Amazon packages to that address with no problem. I called Kohls and they are crediting my account once they get the order back but I am not happy. I went to Land's End and put in an order as I have sent from there too and used the same address. Hopefully this one gets to her. I don't want to have to get the clothes sent to me and I go to the post office to send them out. That is time consuming and expensive. I like to have them sent right from the retailer. Yesterday was a challenging day at work and at home. Hoping for a smoother day today.

Good morning. 24 now going to a whopping 32. I had to turn the heat up 2 degrees yesterday afternoon. Turned it back down to 68 overnight and snuggled under the electric blanket in bed. When it gets to the 40's tomorrow it will feel like a heat wave.

I found Tiger burrowed in a pile of leaves again this morning, she crawled her way out for breakfast. I don't know how warm it can actually be under there, but for now it doesn't seem to bother her.

Worked on my cross stitch for awhile last night while watching Oh What Fun on Prime. I love Michele Pfeiffer, but didn't care for the movie at all. Also watched Hells Kitchen and Next Level Baker.

Not sure if I'll get into much today. I'm still stuffed up and my head is clogged. Going to make a hot cup of tea and see if that helps.

Good morning. It is a bit warmer today with temp now 27 and going into the mid 30s today. I took myself out for a birthday breakfast. I can't believe I am 70 now. How did that happen? The kids and 2 of the grandkids are taking me out for dinner tonight. I am disappointed that not everyone can make it but it is a busy time of year and Kenny does not have the kids this weekend. At least I hope for a video chat so I can see Charlotte and Ellie. Luke and Sam will be at dinner tonight. I have been doing some retail therapy lately so I have bought myself many birthday gifts including a squall jacket from Land's End that I really like. Off to do some housework and errands. We got a dusting of snow this morning but it melted on the roads so that is good.

Good morning, another chilly, frosty day. Going to get to the low 40's, which will feel warm compared to yesterday. Not only was it cold yesterday, but also windy, and there was snow flying around. There's a very light coating of snow on the ground right now.

At least I was able to sleep until 7 am without waking up 2 or 3x a night for a change.
Already stripped and remade the bed, just put kitchen rugs in washer, and going to do the floors now.

Happy Birthday @Snowysmom ! Enjoy your day! And having seen 70, life goes on and it can be very enjoyable especially when you have darling grandkids and great kids. And can go on nice holidays!

This morning I woke up and had coffee and a biscotti. I brought my own Starbucks pods and replaced the Disney ones which I'll bring back to my neighbor friend's son. He claims to love it and I will drink it in a pinch but I brought enough SB for my trip.

Relaxed and caught up mostly on my junk mail. I stay caught up with my kids by spamming them in group texts with pics from the parks, plus who else would want to see a pic of my breakfast?

Around 9am I walked over to CakeBake and had eggs benedict and tomato juice. (Coffee is only once a day, usually.)

It was tasty and enjoyable. Especially since it's about 74 degrees here and 30 at home according to my laptop that doesn't get to update location as I have it blocked.

Weather says it will rain this afternoon. I'm going to get in the car and take a short excursion to Celebration for a bit. Then maybe check out a local Target for some minor things. After that back to my room for a nap and then when rain is over or whatever I will try to do 6:30 Fantasmic. And maybe ride the boat back to Epcot and get another Cookie Stroll cookie if there is time. If not, more time tomorrow. Stay safe and happy!

Back from Celebration. Spotted a house that is on my usual path to get there. I did pull over to get this shot but still took it through my window. The family that lives here does a great job! All the columns are wrapped in lights as well as the tree and bushes so at night it's pretty bright.


Continuing on I took a walk around the lake and then stopped for a slice at Upper Crust on Market Street. The street is closed because that's where they put the tree and they also usually do some other celebrating there.



The light posts are decorated with reindeer barns for Santa's reindeer. Here is Dancer's barn at Reggianos Italian restaurant.



Reggiano's is one of the easy to get to places I frequent when in the area. It's a short walk from the hotel.
