Happy Wednesday morning! :sunny:

Another beautiful day in Cincinnati. Unfortunately most of my painting today is inside. I'll try to get outside to take a nap in the sun. Have to get some color on these legs!

Made bourbon salmon and grilled vegies last night for dinner, so good. Have leftovers for tonight.

Picked up a shift at the hospital for tomorrow. I needed to pick this up, I was short a shift this week and didn't want to have to take PTO to cover it. Kinda bummed though, it's going to be another nice day and I'm losing a day to get things done. Oh well, it needed to be done, I'll eventually get all these projects finished.

Off to paint some brick! Have a great day! :flower:

These are Lou Lou's birthday donuts. She was supposed to take them to preschool today to share with her class. If she can go the rest of the day without fever she can go to the last day of preschool. She woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed. Had a hard night though. Just got a dose of medicine down her. She is so good about taking it, even if it doesn't taste so good. Her first words to me this morning was "Today's my birthday!".

Good afternoon.

Back from a routine checkup at the dentist. On the way home, stopped at Michaels for some thread and Rite Aid for a few things. Plan to mow the grass after lunch. Have laundry going too.

@frog3101, my thoughts are with you. And you too @Snowysmom.

Cute donuts for LouLou.

Anyone keeping up with This Is Us?
I am. Still have not watched last night's. The storyline about Rebecca is just so sad.

It would be fun to stay in over night.
Look at this one. Frying Pan Tower It is 32 miles off the NC coast.

Lusby, Maryland.
When I was in MYF, our church youth used to retreat at Camp Conoy. We were so upset when they closed it to build Calvert Cliffs Power Plant. (How old am I?)

Lunch is calling me.

Good morning, friends,

Thank you, dear Kirby. My cousins live in Houston. I am so thankful Lou Lou was feeling better already last night. Much prayer this morning found her even more well and absolutely able to have fun at her school’s last day party. Happy, Happy Birthday to her as well! I LOVE her donut cake. In fact, my friend Sue, the lady turning 99 at the end of July, would absolutely love that cake too. Sue once told me she loves all kinds of donuts, fresh or not. A couple friends and I before the pandemic had talked about should God-willing Sue celebrate her 100th birthday here on Earth, giving her a Happy 100th Birthday Donut themed party.

Huge hug, Frog and so much prayer to you, my friend. I admire your courageous spirit. Thank you for taking care of yourself and also your kids. Thank God also for your kind friend. Please know always, all of us care too. I’m not sure about spending a night in a lighthouse though depending on accommodations that might be interesting. When I was little, I thought it would be so cool to spend the night in the then Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at Disneyland. During my college years, I learned that in Oregon there actually is a Treehouse Hotel

Hooray, Snowysmom and I indeed give God extra thanks that you are having a fun trip! That warmed my heart this morning to read. Big hug, friend. No matter where you are or may travel Chris is with you and more than that so is Jesus. From all over the country all of us Quackers are sure cheering you on with care, too. I’m so happy you have treated yourself to a few things. Is a cardinal sink strainer cardinal shaped or does it have a cardinal image on it?

Send me some of your 80-degree sun, dear Lynn. Pretty flowers with the chipmunks! Prayers always for Mr. L’s tests and that your shopping will go quickly and smoothly as well.

Judique, I just Googled Cove Point Lighthouse. Staying in a Keeper’s House would be interesting. To me that sounds like a fun compromise that would be safer somehow, too than bunking overnight in an actual lighthouse. Thank you for the information.

So glad you are also enjoying nicer weather, Footballmouse especially during your time off. Thank you for taking tomorrow’s shift. Just please enjoy your time off, too!

I hope all went well for you at the dentist, Carol.

PollyannaMom, is your son now done with school for this semester? I hope so and continue to be most grateful he’s back to health.

Wow! Those are amazing pictures, Pea! Thank you for sharing. Aww, precious Toto. God Bless him!

Wishing all of you a beautiful Wednesday!

Sorry about the vacation, @dazedx3. I hope nobody else gets sick!

Yes! I just had a text from him a few minutes ago. He is very glad to be done. ✅

He was just relaxing today and they will start packing and cleaning tomorrow. (They have to be out of the house by the 15th.)

Lou Lou has had a good day. We have a door that we marked our kids height each year and now are marking the GK's each year. Both Lil Joe and Lou Lou have grown over 3" each since last year.

Now we are scurrying around getting things ready to head out of town tomorrow for DS's wedding.

Dinner tonight was Lou Lou's pick, McDonald's!

Thread save from only one from the bottom!

I am so grateful all the extra to God to be able to share I talked with Steve and Ruth this afternoon. They were able to take their normal morning walk. Steve is feeling much better, praise and thank God! Please do keep them both in prayer. As I said Steve's health is precarious. They both are of good faith. I told them their call was (it sure is) an early birthday gift to me!

Wishing all of you a sweet and cozy good evening.

Good sunny morning. We were almost to the bottom of the page again just now :( Seem to lose more and more of our Quacker family all the time. Guess they are just busy with 'real life'.

Watched Survivor live last night for a change. I was very happy with the evicted person, and very happy with the way it was done, lol!

Also watched this weeks This Is Us. Still cried in a few places, but glad to see that they had Kevin stepping up and not being a total jerk for a change. Next week's is going to be soooo sad.

I am off to weed and mulch before it gets to the 80 degrees they are calling for. That way I can just wear a light sweatshirt while I work

Have a great morning all~~

Morning all!

DH brought me home some flowers, and said he doesn't do enough for me. I love when he thinks of me when he's out and about. It's the little things, right?

Today's plans: opening the box with my new buffet server, to check the pieces. Maybe put it together. Wash the sheets/bedding. Clean up after dinner. Wow, so exciting, lol. STill waiting to hear from Rooms to Go about the broken piece on the bar cart; they've contacted the manufacturer, and are waiting for them to get to back to RTG, so they can get back to me.

Dinner tonight is couscous w/roasted chickpeas, zucchini, yellow squash, onion, and a lemon garlic tahini sauce.

Tomorrow, I have to do all the laundry and pack for DH. H'es going out of town for work, Sunday afternoon to Friday evening. Not going to have time to pack and stuff on Saturday, because DH and I have plans that involve some walking downtown with a bunch of other women. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️ :mic:

Y'all have a good day.

ETA: Happy birthday, @flyingdumbo127 !
