Quarantine and chill and kindness chatty clubhouse: Jump in and join the conversation! All is welcome!

Good evening one & all.
Busy day on the road today, came home and got on the mower purely for the opportunity to get some fresh air and enjoy the weather! Dogs and I are currently outside now, watching the evening parade of the two does that traverse the back of the field and come up the hill most evenings. They are twins that were born here last year - their mother has had twins for a few years running now, so we will soon be on watch for her and new little ones. Chances are the twins born last year are pregnant, too. It's like Wild America around here :P ....I wish the darn barn swallows would have a rest already though - Dinner was steamed veggies and a leftover burger for my husband, nothing much for me, I had a late lunch so wasn't that hungry.

QOTD: What's your favorite zoo animal?

Interesting question! I don't know...I haven't been to a zoo in forever & a day. Does Animal Kingdom count as a zoo? I'd guess not - well I'm not sure what my favorite zoo animal would be. I'm actually a bit conflicted on zoo's, although with that said I have often thought of revisiting the Philadelphia Zoo, it's so nice and right up the road from me. I think it's probably been a good 20 years or so since I was there.

Not sure what my day tomorrow will bring. I think I've got a new project to take a look at in the office and get started on, plus I have some website stuff. This & that I suppose. Have a pleasant evening -

Waving Good Evening to all of you dear friends :)

Nice to see some extra posts today.

That's a great QOTD, PollyannaMom. Thanks for finding a new potential QOTD list for us. To answer your question, I agree with Pea! I also like elephants but for Winnie the Pooh and teddy bears, have to like bears as well. My favorite non zoo animal as all of you probably know already, are dogs.

Easyas, I am also a bit zoo conflicted and don't outright support them.

I was able to get a free shipping code from Michaels and got needed remaining Father's Day items from them. Wonderful, kind customer service.

Hugs!

Hello everyone, It's been a few days, I think I am finally recovering from the weekend with our DD and GDD's, They were so fun. but exhausting!! The almost 3 year old, talks non-stop, we call her" the narrator," because she has a running commentary on everything she is doing and also everything everyone else does (including her dolls) The 3month old is so alert and rolled over for the first time at our house!

Dinner was an EveryPlate meal...we have liked most of them but this one was so-so. I think I will go to bed early tonight, didn't sleep well last night due to my knee aching all night.

QOTD-- The Lowland gorillas are probably my favorite. With the Orangutans a close second.

@apirateslifeforme, I put on Color Street occasionally. It's so easy and you don't have to wait for the polish to dry. You've got a cute set there!

QOTD: What's your favorite zoo animal?
Probably elephants. I could sit and watch them for a long time.

Slept in till 7:00 am this morning. I was so tired after yesterday and not getting to bed till midnight. I'm usually up at 6:00 to walk on my treadmill.

Ran a couple of errands and had lunch with a friend at Olive Garden. She was supposed to come by after running some errands for some vegetables but didn't make it so after dinner DH and I took some by on the way to Sonic for some ice cream. DD picked a boat load of green beans today plus some zucchini squash and tomatoes. She's also starting potty training with Lou Lou. We'll see how that goes, DD is not very consistent. At the moment I prefer not to get involved, I do enough right now and she is the mom.

Dinner tonight was cheeseburger macaroni and roasted yellow squash and green beans.

Well, Tracy never texted me the new PIN so now I have to call EZPass again. >:(

QOTD: What's your favorite zoo animal? I like the giraffes and the prairie dogs and the polar bears.

I have a hair appointment tomorrow and several errands in town and need to hit the grocery store. Then tomorrow afternoon, we have a dance lesson. DH and I took ballroom dance lessons before DD's wedding in 2014 and continued through DS's wedding in 2015. Then we took them again in 2017 before a cruise. Now we are going to go back for another course of lessons before our niece's wedding in September.

Wow...time is flying. I can't believe it's already June.... ...this year has really been a blur. Wanted to pop on before I let another day go by without posting. Just a little recap of the weekend
and hopefully I'll be back tomorrow to reply to some of the new posts.

We had a pretty nice weekend. Dh and our friend got lots done in the yard this Saturday, it's been really neglected the past couple months so it's looking great. We went over to their house for dinner Sat night then went back and spent most of Sunday and Monday hanging out in their pool. It was so nice.

Good morning all.
@Breezy_Carol sorry that you have to call about your EZ Pass again. You would think they would make it a little easier!

@Kirby--I am jealous that you are already picking veggies from your garden. It will probably be the end of July beginning of August before we get anything. And something ate the tops off of one of my newly planted Mushroom Basket Tomato plants. We have a fence fully around the garden , so no idea what it was. Good thing that is our favorite and I planted more of them than the other kinds!

Just took the trash down to the street. We didn't get any service alert that it would be a day late this week, but I bet I end up taking it back in later on, so the raccoons and possums don't get into it.

Its grocery and errand day today, hopefully get it done fairly early. But hubby was up and down a lot last nite, said his legs hurt so bad he couldn't sleep. He's feeling the 'old person' aches and pains a lot more than I am :(

Have a nice morning all, back later to check in~~

That's our neighbors veggies. They have a huge garden and are out of town this week so we get to have whatever is ready to pick. I just have a small raised bed with tomato plants. It will be awhile before our tomatoes are ready. Hope you figure out what ate on your plants.

Good Morning 🐥

Kirby, so thankful you also got to have lunch with a friend :)

Isn't pooh: a polar bear? I had that in mind when I said bears yesterday, Carol :)

Hug, AuntieMe3, I am truly so glad you are enjoying some fun time with friends. You needed some cheer!

I hope your DH feels better, Lynn and that you, of course, have a good day, my friend, too.

I will check back in later, too :)

Happy Wednesday. Part way through the week, yay!

QOTD: My favorite zoo animals are the bears whether polar bears or black bears or brown bears. The Stone Zoo near me had a polar bear for the longest time and I loved to just watch him play and wander around. I don't know if they have one now. I will have to check.

It is a warm sunny day here today. Perfect walking weather.

Sparkle, glad you have good trip memories from your childhood :) Penguins are fun.

Go you gardener and grower, Pea! :)

Enjoy the sunny weather, Snowysmom and good to hear from you. How is Jasper doing? 🐶

Sorry you are still dealing with EZPass, Carol. They sure have not made it EZ (as in easy) for you :( I would love to go to the Dollar Tree! I need a few things from one. I'll certainly never take for granted one day being able to go somewhere as simple as the Tree again! They do have the best deal on cards and notecards.

I got through to EZPass in a mere 17 minutes. Got my new PIN. Still can not access account. Back on hold again.

We've noticed that if one of our vehicles is going thru the EZpass toll on 301 going from MD to DE (going up to Middletown) and we have our satellite radio on, the EZpass will not pick up and we get a toll billed by mail, which in turn means one of the ladies in accounting then has dispute it. Doesn't seem to do it any other toll! Knock wood - at least not yet! EZpass folks actually acknowledged to us on the phone once that "oh yeah, that can happen" :confused3
I did recently read that EZpass is now being accepted at SunPass tolls in Florida, which is mighty convenient if you drive from up north down there with any regularity.

Got to enjoy lunch today outside and all by myself, quite nice outside. This weekend is looking tip-top as well. Husband has collected a jalapeno from the garden already, and we have some peppers on and about ready. Corn in the fields around us (field/feed corn) is anywhere from a few inches up to about a foot tall. I may make the effort to get out to the local farmers market Saturday and see what is available.

No idea about dinner this evening. I have some leftover grilled venison, so I'm thinking that w/ rice or salad. I need to do a solid clearing of the freezer under the fridge AND the upright down in the garage, I know there is stuff in there I've forgotten about that I want to get eaten and out of there in case we end up getting something at the 4H fair this year.
