I've never heard of it, so I googled it and it I found Nothing bundt cakes, but not Anything bundt cakes.
But - it's cake so I'm sure it's good!!!
Ooops! I changed my post to read "Nothing". You would think that I would remember the name.

So glad your DD is feeling better, Kirby. Prayers the wind will stay calm tonight out there.
Just came in from giving my plants a drink. It's as still as can be out there now. Forecast has been upped to severe storms tomorrow with possible hail.

Good morning all. I guess a lot of us googled 'anything bundt cakes' as I had never heard of them either. Now I will try 'nothing bundt cake', lol!

I don't know what is going on with the DIS,,but when I tried to get on at 4 am,,I got the 'this page isn't working at this time' message,,that's a new one on me. Tried just a few minutes ago and it works fine now. Guess there are still some glitches from last Sunday :(
We had some rain overnite, the ground is wet. Temp will only be low 60's today.I am actually hoping that it rains more today, even though we went from 90% chance down to 48%. Everything I did yesterday has made me stiff and sore again, I don't know if it's just not doing yard work for months has done it, or it's just my body getting older. I do stuff one day, and need the next to recover. If it dries out later on I will have to mow..or plan on doing it tomorrow. Their huge chances of rain for Saturday and Sunday are down to next to nothing too.
Hubby still has no side effects from the shot , thankfully, and hoping it stays that way.

I think I will have him help me thin out the tomato plants today. Put the 42 accounted for to other people in their own separate pots * already marked with names and varieties with a sharpie* and then decide how many I want to keep. At least something will get accomplished today that way,

Have a great morning!

Good morning all.
Not a terribly busy day in the office for me today, so I'll probably clean my office later on. I have to pop out to drop some stuff off at the accountants office in a bit, and I think that will be as exciting as it gets for me today! Looks like I will be meeting Cali's new family for pick up tomorrow morning, if the paperwork gets done. I have to head north, they are coming South to pick her up so I figured I'd offer to meet them. Waiting to get the confirmation on that later this morning.
It's a bit of a grey & gloomy day out, spitting a bit but no actual rain.
No idea what dinner will look like this evening. Pizza is becoming a strong contender though!

The squirrel proof feeder seems to be working. I saw sparrows and chickadees feeding. Poor "Sam" squirrel circles around and around on the feeder, which lowered the outside screen, so he couldn't feed. I felt a little bad for him but there is a corn cob feeder for him in the yard too.

If you go as far as Elkton, you can go to Ollie's. :D

Tonight is left over ham, asparagus, and butternut squash. After tonight, the rest of the ham gets frozen.

Tomorrow we are going to SIL's house where her son and his SO and their son are visiting from California. We want to visit with them as we couldn't really talk at the funeral and we haven't met their son. DD is going too so everyone can meet Carter. DD coming back here for an egg hunt and dinner. I had to have something that didn't need me to cook right before so pizza it is.

Good morning everyone.... with you all taking about pizza for dinner, I think you influenced me and we might have that tonight too.... Its been awhile. Although, DH is home from his week away so he might be sick of eating take out so I may need to make something for him.

I went to the eye doctor yesterday, guess I'm joining the glasses crew, just like DD and both my siblings. :thumbsup2 My vision was worse than I thought...lol I need them for distance, reading, and whatever it is in between so I'm getting progressives... hopefully I can adjust to them ok.

Taking the doggie to the vet again this morning, he seems much more like himself everyday so let's hope the vet agrees, he's getting better. We're almost positive it was the antibiotic he was on that caused the bleeding.

You all amaze me with all that you do around your yards....:cheer2: I've been having to google most of the plants you all have been mentioning. LoL We usually have a yard guy that comes once a week but he just mows the grass. On the front yard, we have one rose bush and a crab apple tree that is blooming real pretty right now that I have no idea how either survive because I literally do nothing for them....😬 I also have a huge lilac bush in the backbackyard that gets water when the sprinklers are on for the grass, it's my favorite. I probably should make an effort with that one because it would make me seriously sad if it were to die.

I already forgot what I wanted to reply too....I need to remember to quote...🤦‍♀️

Let's see...Nothing Bundt Cakes area really good. My sister has one close by her in San Diego so any special occasion, she'll bring on to us. She got me a white chocolate raspberry one for my birthday and yum, yum...so good.

@bobbiwoz enjoy your trip to see your family and all the hugs.

@lynxstch so glad Dh hasn't had any side effects to the shot, hopefully it stays that way.

@easyas123 so happy for Cali to be moving on to her new family. My friend is also a foster for a rescue. She's had so many dogs, especially puppies, I'm afraid we'd want to keep them all. LOL Dh has already said he doesn't want any more dogs of our own after our boys are gone, but I can't image not ever having a dog again. Maybe we can do something like fostering to get our doggie fix.

@Breezy_Carol enjoy your family visit and Easter egg hunt. We saved some Easter cookie decorating for need time my niece comes to visit, we should do an egg hunt too.

Good Morning everyone 🌸

Great to see you, Bobbiwoz :) Safe travels and have fun rooting on your grandsons!

Stay safe, Kirby!

I am truly so glad to hear your DH is doing so well after his second shot, Lynn. Such a cute Mickey and Minnie picture ::MickeyMo::MinnieMo

Easyas, hug on Cali. Thank you again for giving her such loving care.

Enjoy your pizza, Carol (and everyone else tonight having pizza) 🍕 and the egg hunt sounds like it will be fun :)

AuntieMe3, I'm very glad Bingo continues to approve. I also am amazed by our fellow Quackers yard care skills!

Wishing all of you a fantastic Friday!

I had pizza last night. Was a 70p one from Tesco, and I must say, I really liked it, cheap dinner! hehe

I've also done some baking today. It was a packet, just edd an egg, oil and water.
Was supposed to be Galaxy blondie bars.
Not sure what it was when it came out of the oven, but it wasn't what it was supposed to be, haha!
All the chocolate chips had sunk to the bottom, and then stuk onto the baking paper I had put in the tin.
So it was basically a white cake, with a thin layer of chocolate on the bottom.
Taste great though! I'll probably get another one to make soon, haha!

I'm back to vent about something annoying as I get ready for the day. A few weeks back, I bought myself a pair of crop pants at Walmart. I liked them so much, when I went back last week to get Easter stuff, I picked up two more pairs as my old "spring pants" have reached their end. LOL I washed all my new stuff yesterday and tried to put on the new ones this morning and OMG....I CAN'T EVEN get one pair on and the other is SUPER tight...like holy cow these are so tight, am I going to be able to sit in these?? Of course I just washed them so I don't think I can take them back now but soo annoying. Same brand of pants...same size....same style....I assumed since the first pair fit, these new ones would fit too. :sad2: I wearing the less tight ones to see if they'll stretch out a bit but the other pair are a lost cause I guess...I cant even get them over my bootie. :scared:

That sounds tasty, Moorhunhe, a white cake with a chocolate "surprise" at the bottom.

I'm sorry, AuntieMe3. That's awful. You could call Walmart and tell them what happened. Or next time you are in the store, if there's not a long customer service line explain and see what they might offer. Old Navy can be terrible for different sizing even among identical items! I wish you a much brighter rest of the day, my friend.

I feel your pain!
I ordered a 3 capri pants from Kohls, one being from their Lands End line. One was huge, one to small, one just right. All the same size. I've got to take them back tomorrow....I'm biting the bullet and going clothes shopping tomorrow because I am tired of ordering stuff online, hopefully some of the places I go to will have their dressing rooms open! I'm sure one will, one won't - and don't get me started on some places phasing out their onsite petite departments.

Yes you CAN take them back. As long as you have your receipt. I always wash new clothes before wearing, and anytime something has shrunk in the wash I have taken them back for a refund. Especially at Walmart, as a lot of their clothes aren't the 'best' quality. I have returned many many thing to them!

Easyas, I'm sorry you also need to do a clothing return! I really don't understand why the identical or same size within a line of items aren't identical in fit. I so look forward to being able to go into a dressing room.

I also always wash clothes before wearing and sheets/towels before using, Lynn.

Wishing all of you a good afternoon. I'm so grateful Dad is done with laundry and Ralph's. He's safely home for the weekend which is always an extra Friday Blessing.

This bugs me too. Men can go buy their shirt and pant sizes and have them consistent across brands. I get two of the exact same thing and they don't fit the same. I have pants in my closet that all fit and are three different sizes.

Groceries bought and put away. Car gassed up. Azaleas planted. Bed sheets changed. Watching TV from last night.

Thanks @lynxstch DH just told me I should try anyway too, so that's what I'll do. For the one pair at least, the second pair feels much better are wearing for a little while. I still have the tags and luckily the receipt was still in my purse.

I buy shirts all the time but pants seem to only happen every other year. LOL Shoes too, I really need some new spring/summer type shoes this year too. I hate shopping. LOL

I washed my bedding yesterday too...all the way down to our mattress cover. I switched out our warm comforter for a thinner quilt because I've been getting pretty warm at night but I think it was too soon....I was freezing. I'll add a throw blanket on top of me tonight.

@lynxstch Glad your DH is doing well with the vaccine.

Happy that Cali has a new forever home.

Sorry to hear about issues buying clothes. It is frustrating. Sizes mean nothing now. I am looking for a pair of cotton (with a bit of stretch) capris and can't find what I like. I was at Kohls today and their stuff was awful. I guess I will try Land's End.

I took off today and have been running around doing errands. Home for a bit then a walk and dinner out.

Here is a picture of Jasper. He does not like to have his picture taken so I have to take it on the fly. My westies would pose for pictures but he does not.

Happy Friday.
