Good morning. 23 going to 29, high winds again. It's the winds that I dislike more than anything else.

@Pea-n-Me Thank you for sharing that.

@bobbiwoz Continued prayers

Yesterday morning I got woken up at 7 by a huge crane truck trying to back up the street next door to deliver roof shingles to the top of a roof. This morning it was 7 when the sounds of hammering woke me up. Someone is putting up that roof in this cold weather. But we have a sound ordinance here, and you aren't allowed to make loud noises until after 8 am. I'm not happy, since I couldn't fall asleep until after 3.

Google maps has fixed the issue and taken neighbors house off my property. I can go to Walmart online and order something like a bag of dry cat food, or bird seed, or litter, and it says it will be delivered to my house today. Yet if I try to order grocery's, it still says delivery not available for this address. Summer just told me it's Friday, and Walmart orders are always busy and usually start around 8. It's 10 and she hasn't gotten any delivery orders yet. They need to fix whatever is going on with that store's systems.

Have a good day all

Good morning. 16 degrees now with temps going to 35. Getting warmer! I went Wegman's early to get some produce for the week. I am making broccoli teriyaki chicken bowl tomorrow for a couple of meals during the week. Yesterday I did get out and walk a bit and went to the gym. It was still windy here so chilly to walk outside for a long time. Today looking forward to Charlotte's party. Her party is Trolls themed. As I was checking out at Wegmans I looked over at the display at the register and right in front of me was a Golden Book titled Trolls. I took that as a sign and bought it for her. She will have an extra book but that is OK. I also got her 2 other books, a stuffed yorkie dog, and a Moana playset. I always get clothes too but that is so I can buy girl clothes, just not too girly. I buy the boys clothes too but special for me to buy girl clothes.

Have a good day.

Sunny and 23 now going to 45 today. Temps rising the next few days into the 50's. I'll take anything over freezing.
I want to get outside and take a walk today, tired of being cooped up in the house from the wind and the cold.

Summer dropped the parts off at the mechanic yesterday morning and he had her truck fixed by 2. She's on her way to get a front end alignment now. I wish we could bill the city for the damage to our cars from all the potholes!

Have a good day everyone

Thank you dear for sharing such a beautiful reminder. Indeed God has and is with each of us forever. He will work all things out for His perfect will when we let Him. I do believe there is good in all.

I am not into running or watching others do so. That said, last night I ended up re-watching, "Remember the Goal." It's the story of a Christian girl's high school cross country team. I thought it was well done and enjoyed the faith elements. At one point the coach reminded her team of 1 Corinthians 10:31. To do all things for God's glory. From eating to working to running
As one of my favorite songs, Hands by Jewel says, we are His living body. We have the call and privelige to serve.

I pray to have overall reacted kindly over the last couple of days to some unkind treatment by nurses. Definitely a challenge and not always fun. I pray to somehow find a way out of here asap. I am, btw, documenting all this to have a clear record of. So sad to need to do this.

Summer will arrive here mid week
Upper 80's. March is coming. How I pray and would sure appreciate all of your prayers that I get home this coming March! Thanks friends and sweet dreams.

I'm excited for the increase in temps too. - I am done with the yard being a skating rink!

And I know what you mean about girls clothes. - DS had some cute stuff, but shopping for my nieces was always particularly fun.

@flyingdumbo127 So sorry the nurses are not very nice. Unfortunately that does happen in these facilities. I so hope that you get to a new place that is better for you and your care. Good idea to document.

Good morning. It already feels a little bit warmer. Only going to the upper 30s today but much better than the 20s. Charlotte's party was alot of fun to watch. The kids had fun. Sam was a little dynamo trying to keep up with the bigger kids. This morning Jeff sent me a picture of Charlotte in the outfit I got for her. She loves it which makes me happy. We have similar taste in clothes and colors! so far today I have been to the gym and did my taxes. What fun! But it is done now. Next up will be a walk outside, some work work, and maybe some errands.

Have a good Sunday.

Thank you dear Snowysmom and truly God Bless your grandkids. The nurse on duty right now, my friend A, is wonderful. She's my favorite. Plus she often wears a Mickey sweatshirt :) Sadly a truly unprofessional encounter last night with a different nurse was definitely not positive. I keep her in prayer, too.

Love the Mickey hearts dear Lynn.

Happy Sunday with love to all.

Good morning. it is 22 now with temps heading to 40. Quiet day yesterday after a busy morning. I watched a couple of Hallmark movies and did some reading and meditating. Today I have salt therapy. I am looking forward to the quiet time of relaxation and meditation.

Have a good day.

Good morning. 31 now going to mid 50's. Finally feels like winter is giving us a break.

Went for a long walk around the neighborhood yesterday. Watched The America's and the new Suits LA. I'm a fan of the original Suits and it's going to take awhile to get used to this one. If I had to make a decision right now, I might not continue to watch it, but I'll give it another episode or 2 before making up my mind

Have a good day everyone

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well.

Dazed - Congrats
Bobbi - good luck today, thinking of you
Flyingdumbo - Glad the PT is working for you and you are making progress, sorry about the poor treatment you have received.
Judique- safe travels, have fun!

Not much to report here, same old same old....Splitting my time between our two offices today, headed to San Diego (yay for some sunshine & warmth!!) on Tuesday-Friday for a Risk Mgmt Conference.

Have a good week-

On Page 2!

Thinking of Bobbi and Mona. :flower3: I wish I could be there for both of you. My BIL also had a surgery yesterday, he’s doing ok. Glad Summer’s car is getting fixed.

Snowysmom, would love the recipe for teriyaki bowls. I have some extra rice I wasn’t sure what to do with. We made a Mexican casserole and American Chop Suey over the past couple of days, both were good. And DD’s bf’s mother sent over some beef and rice with sweet chili sauce, it was very good. We also made some cupcakes, vanilla with chocolate frosting. I feel like I’m running out of ideas on what to make lately.

Fingers crossed, both the tile guy and the plumber are coming on Wed to finish the tile and the sinks. 🙏 DD spent Monday putting all the crap away from the renovation so she could get all her clothes situated in the apt and it’s all really cozy. The TV is huge, last night we watched a movie, then the season finale of All Creatures Great and Small, and we started watching Downton Abbey. I saw the movie but never the show. And this time I’m not waiting for anyone, it gets too confusing that way, I’m just gonna watch when I watch. We have the same huge TV in our downstairs family room so I can watch it either there or on my iPad Pro if DD wants to watch something else. (Our living room TV is rather small and I can’t see the closed captioning, which I generally keep on for the accents - and I’m going deaf, lol.) But I love those English-based shows. (That’s really all I like besides Dr Pol.)

We are finally getting some warmer weather in the 40s, and some of the ice is melting. Got the dogs out for a good run this weekend they needed it being cooped up more than usual, although they can play in the yard anytime, which is usually pretty low key unless DS brings his dog over, who’s got frenetic energy. Grady really needs to romp several times a week. He’s taken to barking when DH comes home from work. Just a happy woof, woof, woof at the door, in excitement. Just started doing that recently. And it’s Toto who barks at strangers at the door, not G, go figure.

One more day before I start a work stretch. I had a lazy Monday. Ran around Sunday doing errands and bringing some food we made to DS at work, with some to take home - really just to say hi. I still have to put some Easter things out I picked up. It’s been fun watching what DD buys for her apt, she has good taste. She’s also been crocheting things, she made a beautiful, warm blanket for her sofa, and some animals that she does for fun. She’ll probably enter some in the local fair this summer for chuckles, I’m guessing one or two of them will probably win based on people’s reaction who see them. Crocheting seems to be a popular activity among young people today. I remember doing it a bit when I was in grade school myself. Too bad Joanne’s is closing.

I hope everyone has a good Tuesday. 🐥

Thoughts and prayers for Bobbiwoz and Mona.

Pea-n-me I use recipes from Eating well. Here is the recipe I was looking at:
https://www.eatingwell.com/teriyaki-chicken-skillet-casserole-with-broccoli-8404232
I did not make this yet. I ended up just marinading the chicken in lower sodium teriyaki and pan searing. Then I roasted broccoli and a made a baked sweet potato. Hope your BIL is recovering well from surgery.

Good morning. It is already above freezing at 33 with temps heading into the 40s. A good day for walking outside. Yesterday I had salt therapy and really relaxed and meditated. I fell asleep for a few minutes. My neighbor told me that some of the ladies around here are getting together on Friday for a ladies night out. She asked if I wanted to join. So I will try that out on Friday. There is a local restaurant about 7 minutes away so not too far to venture to.

Have a good day.

Good morning. Adding my prayers for Bobbi.
It's already 46 here and we may hit 60 today. I have my fingers crossed that Spring is heading this way soon. I'd like to bypass March just in case we get more cold weather or snow.

I started my Spring cleaning yesterday. At the rate I'm going I might be done by Memorial Day.

Summer got her truck back on Friday and it was still shaking. She took it for a front end alignment Saturday morning and that didn't stop the shake either. She left it at the garage (across the street from her house) yesterday. The mechanic found out that it was a bad tire. Now wouldn't they have noticed it since they replaced everything for the steering and had to take the front tires off? And why wouldn't the guy doing the front end alignment not have seen it either. Makes no sense. I called the mechanic and complained, since I'm the one who ended up paying for the repair. I told her to pay her electric bill instead before it got shut off. The mechanic apologized and told me he put a new tire on for her at no charge. Just because we're women, they still try to take advantage sometimes.

I told her from now on not to call me when she has a car problem. It's time for her Mother to help her out for a change.
Going to clean out the fridge, take trash down and make a grocery list for tomorrow. I just vacuumed out the car, might take it through the car wash tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

Have a good day everyone

Lynn Summer has had so many issues with her truck. I hope this is the last of them for a while. Unfortunately sometimes car repair places and car dealerships take advantage of women. Glad you did some push back.

Good morning. It is 37 here with temps heading into the 40s again. It was a good walking day yesterday so I was out and around a few times. I went to Market Basket and while the store was not overly crowded the checkouts were as they did not have as many running. Usually they have almost every one running and it is easy to checkout even when the store is busier. Tomorrow I go to the office. I haven't been since last January so I can't really complain.

Have a good day.

Happy Hump Day!

@lynxstch - I was a big fan of the original Suits also, but I couldn't get through the first episode of the new version. I was just wanted to see the old characters so I don't think I can accept the new ones.

Got up in the 60's yesterday and the same for today. I'm off today, worked yesterday and again tomorrow, then I'm off for the weekend.

Tonight I'm headed to Evan's soccer game and play with Mia. On Saturday, we're all going to the Maple Syrup Festival's pancake breakfast at one of the state parks. We've been doing this for the last 4 or 5 years.

I ordered a small photo album from Amazon and had pictures printed out from Walgreens. I'm going to make Mia a little photo album of some of her favorite pictures from my phone. She always wants to look at the pictures on my phone and I'm afraid one of the times she's going to click on something that will erase them.

Survivor starts tonight!!!! I'll be at the game, so it's set to record, and I'll watch it tomorrow after work. I told Evan he's lucky that I like Mia since I'm willing to miss the season opener of my favorite show. LOL

Off to switch the laundry over, have a great day!

@footballmouse I watched the new one again, to try and figure out what's going on. "Harvey" is going to make some guest appearances, I read they're trying to get "Mike" too, but I don't think this new cast is going to have the same dynamic that they have

I can't wait for Survivor tonight, I just hope it's better than last season

"Carolyn" was on this season of Traitors, as well as Boston Rob. Carolyn was as annoying on there as she was on Survivor. Rob is well...Rob, lol

Bobbi - good luck today, thinking of you

Thinking of Bobbi

Thoughts and prayers for Bobbiwoz

Bobbi extra prayers to dear you.

Adding my prayers for Bobbi.

Meriweather is supposed to be receiving updates by text. (She'll be posting to a thread we're both part of on the games board, and then I'll repost here.) She hadn't heard anything yet as of this morning.
