Good morning. Cloudy and going to be 37 today.
@footballmouse Somehow I missed seeing your post from yesterday until just now. I think you posted just before I did. For some reason I thought Survivor was the finale this week too. Why are they messing with the formulary and screwing us all up? Next Wed, instead of the usual 3 hour finale, it's just 2 hours. This whole season was weird for me. I'm still pulling for Sam, but darn Rachel keeps winning all the immunity challenges. I can't stand Sue or Teeny. I hope your last weekend goes well, even if it's sad.
@Snowysmom I'm glad you had a nice trip. It's okay that you remembered Chris at times, but that you made some new memories for yourself.
The guy for the woodstove never showed up at 10 like he was supposed to. I waited until noon and then texted him and told him to forget it, that I was selling to the other guy who was interested. He texted me back that he could be here at 2:30 and I told him not to bother, that the other guy was already on his way here to measure. That guy showed up within 20 min of my calling him and they're going to try for tomorrow to get it out of here. The first guy texted me a not so nice text saying I was rude. I was rude? He's the one who didn't get back with me for 3 weeks. He's the one who didn't show up Wednesday like he said he was and he's the one who never showed up yesterday morning like we agreed. His loss, not mine.
My packages are waiting on the front porch for the mail carrier to pick them up and get them on their way. I'm all done with packages now. I was upset with
Walmart last night. I ordered a cat bed for my littlest cat, who keeps crawling under the blankets to sleep. I ordered it Wed. after being in the store and not finding it, even though it said it was in stock. So I ordered it online. It said it would be delivered yesterday from the store. Then I got a 'delayed' email with no delivery date. I got on a chat and they couldn't tell me when it would get here. It was $17.97 and the guy on the phone gave me a $15 credit, so it was costing me $3, I figured I could wait.
Last night I'm watching tv around 7:30 when I got a text that my delivery from Walmart would be here in 3 minutes. I waited, and didn't see any car. Another text saying it was delivered. Look at the picture and it's not my porch. My porch is lit up with Xmas lights and I had the porch light on. It looked like my neighbors porch so I got a flashlight and walked over, and sure enough, there's my pkg sitting on their porch. And it's the same driver who's been here many many times. I called customer service to report that it was delivered to the wrong house and they gave me another $10 credit. How on earth does Walmart make money when they do that? I had another item last week, that was delayed. They refunded me for a more expensive item that was already here (and I was keeping) and the other item came Fed Ex overnight delivery (a $6 item). It's just crazy!
I'm off of here to go do a couple of errands and then come home and do some more cleaning. I went in the cellar to move some stuff to get the stove out, and ended up with another 2 trash bags full of stuff for pick up next week, and reorganized one side of the cellar and have a lot more room.
Have a good Friday (Friday the 13'th, don't walk under any ladders!)
