Feel better dear Lynn. Please take care of yourself!

Thank you dear PollyannaMom and dear Bobbi, too. We will look into All :)

I have been using larger wipes a couple times a day since last December. I will never take being able to shower normally God willing oe day again. Anyway I had come to like and depend on a Kroger based brand from Ralphs. Unscented, gentle, basically free and clear for wipes.

Dad when he went to get a new 4 pack a week or so ago discovered the blue wrapping was white. The package appeared the same. Tried the new wipes for the first time a couple of days ago. Reminder that "unscented," may not truly mean no smell. These new wipes have a awful strong smell, sort of chemically. They also make me itch a bit and possibly also caused a tiny area on my arm to have an allergic reaction. I am blessed to other than with one cleaning wipe we tried during the pandemic not have any true allergies. This new wipe is absolutely not simply a new color wrapping of the original wipes. Be careful friends especially if you have sensitive skin.

Dad thank God is home. He overdid it out shopping this morning. He just won't easily accept an easier alternative or breaking errands down. What matters is he is home :)

Have a great rest of the afternoon dear friends.

Lynn I hope you are able to get some rest and relax and feel better.

Flyingdumbo127 Truly unscented does not mean it will not have some sort of smell. With sensitive skin you do need to be careful. I have sensitive skin and find All detergent works well. I find it on sale frequently.

Bobbiwoz Glad you got on the ferry.

Good morning. Not as chilly to day at 49, with temps heading to around 60. It is supposed to be rainy so it looks like a visit to the gym and the treadmill today. Kenny came by yesterday put together my counter stools as well as put a filter on my shower. I have borderline hard water and my skin was itchy and my hair seemed dry. I hope this works. It already seems better this morning. Jeff had alot of errands to do so I am seeing them next weekend. I did have face time with them. I made a chicken noodle soup in my new crock pot and will have supper for most of the week.

Have a good day.

Thank you dear Snowysmom so much. We also have hard water with old not up to code pipes and plumbing. I understand that frustration. I don't think you have any Ralphs based Supermarkets out there. I have come to like Kroger unscented body wash for sensitive skin. I had used a name brand for years until it was redone with a similar label yet not the same product at all which the company actualky admitted to me. Dad did get a new unscented wipe yesterday. These do have some smell but nothing like the truly awful other wipes. Plus these wipes didn't irritate me. Definitely a matter of finding what works for you.

Dear PollyannaMom, that type of smaller parry sounds fun. I am not a noisy crowd fan at all. I prefer one on one or small groups. I'm glad you had fun.

Prayers dear Lynn you are feeling better and dear Bobbi for safe travels.

Love and Good Morning to all.

Good Monday Morning!🍂

Lynxstch - hope you're feeling better this morning.:goodvibes

Quite chilly out this morning. I actually shut my living room windows before I left for work.:cold:

Worked nightshift over the weekend and then at Kohls yesterday. We all talked about the very good possibility of our unit closing after the first of the year. Everyone is pretty mad.😡

Jacob brought over a crate for Buster yesterday. Used it while I was at Kohls, he seems to have done pretty well. Hopefully he wasn't barking or howling the whole time. Since it's pretty small I went ahead and kept it in the living room, that way he feels like he's still with the other dogs.:dog:

Not really much going on. Have a great day!

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well. Trying to stay up-to-date on this thread....just not much new to report! Staying busy, hired someone to take over my current position which will free me up to do some more creative stuff - I'm beyond glad to have hired someone to take over the majority of my day to day tasks in terms of my safety position. One of our dogs has terminal sarcoma - it's okay, he's doing just fine at the moment and we have peace with our decision of quality over quantity of life. He's older and these things do happen, just concentrating on spoiling him a bit more and giving him a great next week, month, year or whatever he gets.
Enjoying some beautiful fall weather, got about 1/2 of our seasons firewood stacked (I could get it delivered & stacked but each year I tell myself I'll do it, it'll be good exercise! Then I get tired of stacking it!). Still mowing, although not as often. I think last year we mowed for the last time in early November. Geese & ducks are often overhead and we've been seeing a lot of bald eagles.
Husband leaves for his annual 5-10 days away hunting on Thursday. He's usually gone about a week or so. No great & exciting travel plans for us in the next 6-12 months (San Diego & Cayman Islands for work in Feb. & March - but that's not 'vacation') although if I was a betting person I'd be betting on us having something booked for the first half of the year sooner rather than later - we both get antsy with no travel planned! We do have loose plans w/ some close family members to go to the Christmas Markets next December, so we will see if that actually happens or not.
Thinking about volunteering to be a election judge, sounds like a LONG day, but I do want to make a effort to get more involved in the community in the next 12 months.
Welp, still plenty to do around here. Best get to it. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning and welcome to the real change in seasons. It's 52 outside and that will be our high for the day. We hit 82 yesterday. It's windy and cloudy. I found my deck chairs all the way out by what used to be the garden and my big rosemary plant in the middle of the side yard. The cats gravity water feeder was knocked over and the deck is wet from where it spilled.
Thank you for all of the 'hope you're feeling better wishes'. I feel more human today. I must have picked up a bug somewhere. I was fine when I got up yesterday morning, even went to the market. On the way home I started not feeling great. I thought maybe I was having an A fib flareup, but my heart rate and BP were fine. I laid down on my bed at 11 and stayed there until 3:30. I ached all over and got dizzy every time I got up. I made myself get up at 3:30 and had 1/2 a banana and 1/2 a piece of toast. I thought maybe I was dehydrated so I drank quite a bit. I managed to feed the cats their supper, and then laid on the couch where I basically stayed until Big Brother finale was over. I fell asleep around 1, woke again, fell back to sleep at 3 and slept until 8:15. I think whatever it was has mostly passed.

I took my decorative fence down from around the roses and columbine, and took the fountain out of the bird bath, washed and dried it and put it in the shed before we get a freeze.

Have a good day.

@easyas123, I hope you will be planning a vacation, sooner rather than later!

@lynxstch, glad you are feeling better!!

@Snowysmom, homemade Chicken soup sounds so good to me!

We just passed Annapolis, on our way to West Virginia.

My DSis and I are finished with our Calendar project. It’s 30 years since she made our “Cousins Calendar “ and our 2025 version features mostly the next generation. Sadly, our cousin family isn’t united in the sense we are all friends. In fact, one of my cousins didn’t open our birthday cards we sent to him. He sent them both back, unopened. So, I went and scratched off the Lottery ticket I had sent. It was a $100 winner! I don’t know if my sister’s was worth anything. Now, his sister kept her cards from us, so, I don’t really know what it’s all about. Yes, these two cousins were born on the same day a year apart!

Enjoy your day!

Easyas, doggie prayers my friend. You please take care and I also hope you have a vacation soon.

Lynn, I am truly thankful extra to God you are feeling better. Get some more rest and be kind to yourself!

Bobbi, I love your calendar project and pray you and Tom enjoy a safe and fun vacation. Hugs friend extra and family prayer.

@bobbiwoz - enjoy your trip! I think I'll pick up a lottery ticket tomorrow. You are making me feel lucky!

@lynxstch - glad you are feeling better! It's 67 here and the weekend is looking better. However I've been feeding rabbits for a couple of days at a friends house. They went to Ocean City and are on their way back a day early. It's 64 there but a little windy,

@easyas123 - Hi!

@PollyannaMom - belated Happy Birthday!

Tried returning some door levers at Lowes today but apparently 5 months is too long to keep them. Policy is 3 months but I never noticed. Now I'll have to get the guy to come and make the hole in the door 1/8 inch larger as they didn't fit once I was ready to install. Apparently new stuff has a larger opening than my vintage wooden panel doors. Hopefully the wood won't splinter. I may try sanding one down myself.

Actually returning was probably not the best idea anyway as new levers are probably all the bigger size. My old ones were mixed metals and some were looking less than stylish to say the least.

Tomorrow will probably bring another remodel problem. I'll get through it.

Extra hug Judique.

I am so grateful to God dad is doing better this evening. Praying he doesn't do too much tomorrow. I'm starting to feel better from time of month. Hopefully the Dodgers will win again on Wednesday⚾I did reschedule Vivian for next week. Dad and I God willing both need to get extra rest this week.

Sqeet dreams dear friends with love.

Easyas Good to hear from you. So sorry about your doggie. Spoiling him is a wonderful thing to do.

Judique Happy remodeling for your home. A fun way to keep busy.

Flyingdumbo127 Glad both of you are feeling better. Hope you get some rest.

Good morning. It is 41 here right now with temps only going into the 50s today. I have a therapist appt with my original therapist. This is kind of like a check in appt and I most likely will not be seeing her much if at all after this. She was great for the time after Chris passed but we both acknowledge that it is time to move on. I find the grief/healing counselor has the understanding and advice that I need now and will continue with her for a bit especially through the holidays. I went to the gym yesterday to use the treadmill. Today should be a nice but cool day so I will walk around here. Tomorrow I drive into the office early and then have a 9 am appt to hopefully finish the root canal. It is not bothering me at all so I hope tomorrow it is finished and I am pain free and can move on from this dental nightmare. I will have to go back to my dentist to have a permanent filling put into the crown. I just hope and pray the endodontist does not break the crown or I will have to have that replaced. I do need this part of my life to be done. I am looking forward to my weekend getaway to North Conway next month.

Have a good day.

Good morning. Another chilly start (39) to a 53 degree day. Calling for a chance of rain later this morning. I'm not feeling 100% yet, but I'm feeling better than I was. I won't be going near that Chinese restaurant again for sure.
I have to clean the fridge out, change out litter boxes and take the trash down. Those will be my exciting chores for the day. Going to take it easy again today.

Have a nice Tuesday

Well, I am waiting for Tom while he has the Roman bath and relaxing massage! It’s a slow time here, and only one masseuse is in.

I feel wonderful it’s our first visit here since 2017! Can hardly believe it’s been that long. The leaves are changing. We are staying at the lodge at Cacapon SP, WV. It was refreshed in 2021, I think, and they did a wonderful job. Our procedure are in Berkeley Springs SP. I believe it’s the Smallest SP in all of the states. It’s one city block, and the mineral springs runs through it.

I read about this area when we lived in Ohio, and I would fly on USAir back and forth from Dayton to Philadelphia, and it was featured in the airplane magazine. It’s touts itself as the Nation’s first Spa. George Washington came here, and they have his bathtub featured outside! They have a water festival every year.

I think WV has very lovely SP!

Have a wonderful day!
