:hug:Kirby, so good to see you. The market sounds like fun. I still hope to one day get to browse at a Christmas market which thecone you described reminded me of. Boost does offer free trials. You just have to remember, we always make a note on our calendar a couple days before, to cancel. Go under, "Manage My Boost Membership," on your online account. Glad Kroger is so close to you. We probably have 4 Ralphs all between 5 and 15 minutes away. Our two Paviliomd which dad normally only goes to once a week, sometimes not even, are both less than 10 minutes away in opposite directions. Very blessed indeed🛒

Good morning. We had a thunderstorm overnight, and they're calling for one this morning. Temps down to upper 70's today but still muggy. I made a quick walk through the garden, picked some lettuce and checked on the rest of the plants. No plans for the day yet.

Have a nice morning.

:wave:Good Morning Friends and Happy Sunday🌼

Dad and I did watch the first half an hour or so of Christmas on Candy Cane Lane last night. Honestly, I wasn't overly impressed with it yet though to be fair it has gotten a little better. So far, I like the dad of the young daughter character the best. Saving part was definitely seeing briefly the town's Nativity scene. We will watch a little more this afternoon. I will share more once we have done so.

All is quiet here. I am looking forward as always to watching online worship. Dad will shortly be going to Pavilions. While there, he will use their Coinstar Machine to get us an Amazon E gift card. Our small plastic jar really does fill up with loose 🪙fairly quickly--definitely once every couple of months. To us, this is an extra $25+ in a way. Reminder, speaking of savings money, this is Target Circle Week and starting Tuesday for two days those of you with Amazon Prime, check out Prime Deal deals. Oh and Walmart+ is $49 for a year as well. Always trying to save my Quacker family money :)

❤️to all. I will check back in later.

Thread save for the evening to wish all of you love always and sweet dreams.

I posted in the Hallmark movie thread that dad and I did not like at all Christmas on Candy Cane Lane. It never got any better! :P To be fair, after trying to watch it for 30+ minutes, we mostly fast forwarded to the very end which was the best part. Even that, I'm afraid, was nothing to recommend! None of the characters did anything for us. Terrible really and semi annoying too. I did like the late mother's character and the dad. But again, not even close to recommending any of dear you waste time on this! Oh well, as we all know some movies are better than others. We are more looking forward to checking out A Christmas Miracle for Daisy.

Good morning. Yet another dreary morning. It is raining now and will on and off today. Temps will be better, in the low 70s. I may run out to target after work to get some snacks for our trip. Jeff's kids love Annie's gummies and I always bring those to them. They would be disappointed if I did not bring any to NH. Market Basket was out of alot of items yesterday. There were bare areas on the shelves such as powder dishwashing detergent and the fruit snacks for kids. There were other obvious bare shelves. Never had that issue before. I am hoping it is because the store was really crowded, it was Sunday afternoon and we usually go Thursday or Friday, and that they were too busy to make shelf stocking a priority.

Off to work. Have a good day.

I noticed the same thing yesterday, but with bread and rolls!

I think you're right about stocking being a low priority, especially if they were short-staffed with the holiday week. It may be a lagging effect of delivery delays from the holiday as well, or maybe even because of the flooding west of us (MA/NY border). - I'm not sure how far or from which direction some things travel.

Early morning for meetings today. Went to DS’s game last night, met DH there, then drove home with DS as we had to take separate cars as I had to get my haircut first. I like spending time with DS that way, we got an ice cream on the way home. Anyway, he had another very good outing and they won again, currently #1 in their league! :goodvibes Also got to chit chat with an old baseball friend which was fun. I think I forgot to mention that last week I ran into another old baseball friend and that kind of made my week seeing her. Have to hop in the shower, my busy week continues. I hope everyone has a good Monday! 🐥

I wish some of you could share your rain with us. I haven’t had to mow the lawn for about 6 weeks, it is crunchy and brown. This is fairly unusual for my area, especially this early in the summer.

Not much going on here, I registered for a trip to Panama in February. I am looking forward to it, but it is so hard without Kris. I feel both guilty and sad at times.

Have a great day, everyone

@dazedx3 I would love to send you the rain we are having today. I imagine my new condo basement flooded today.

I am glad you have something to look forward to. It is not easy to go without Kris but you shouldn't feel guilty. I understand the sad part. When I went on the cruise in May I was sad at times and that is to be expected. I also made new memories and had some good moments with the trip. I did miss Chris. I feel like he was with me sometimes. I traveled with a good friend who has been very supportive so she knew when I was thinking of Chris and we talked. I am not the best person to be giving advice as I have been having a very difficult time lately. I wish you peace and calm.

:grouphug:extra Dazed and Snowysmom! Snowysmom, you are exactly the right person God is using as a healer to both you and Dazed! You both are such strong and courageous ladies who are also kind and wise, too! I thank you both for encouraging each other and truly all of us by your continuing love and friendship, honest sharing with us! You know, I wish both of you, always, peace and joy! I also would love, God willing if the two of you could meet some time. Of course, :), I'd sure love to meet both, all of you dear Quackers, myself, too! All of you truly make a daily difference to me.

Dad and I are shortly going out briefly to 99 and Target right at opening. I will post more later. ⚾:cheer2:to your son, Pea!

PollyannaMom:hug:and good morning to you as well, my friend and your 🐈s. I agree with both you and Snowysmom that from the little I have now gotten out, shelves are still barer than what I remember pre pandemic. But by the Grace of God, how far we have come by His Mercy and Love. I was telling dad last night how the last time I was at the Pavilions he went to yesterday was on Monday, April 6, 2020. That morning the store felt like a twilight zone experience much sadly like church did on March 15th--my last in person worship service. The atmosphere was so sad and strange. Shelves were very bare and how beyond extra blessed we were to have been able to get anything that day! That's why being able to go there one day in the future will mean so much to me. Reminder that through all, always, no matter what God loves and is with us!

I will come back later. Happy Monday with love to all!

Good Monday morning!:sunny:

Nothing much to write about, I worked night shift all weekend so I'm exhausted today. Working from home today, too tired to get up this morning.😴

Dazed - that's unbelievable about not having rain for that long. ☔

Saturday we ordered dinner at work from a new restuarant in the area, Piada, it's a chain restaurant but new to me. It was good, I'll definitely go back.

The other 2 girls that I'm going to Florida with worked this weekend so we had a vacation meeting :grouphug:. I think we have everything organized. I need to stop at the $1 store and grab some 3 oz bottles that I can pour my shampoo and tanning oil in. I'm really cutting down on clothes this time, I ended up wearing my bathing suit & cover-up to the restaurants we went to so most of the clothes I brought went unworn 🩱. I'm going to make sure my backpack fits under the seat this time.

Back to work, have a great day.
