Quality Suites Lake Buena Vista

Looking for any pros or cons for this place.

This was the very first place we stayed in 2005 but it was called Homewood Suites that time. Whilst we were there they changed to name to Palamino Suites, infact they didn't tell us and we drove back one day and totally lost our bearings because all the signage was changed and we thought we were in the wrong place, it was quite funny actually.

Anyway, I have a soft spot for the place and we thought it was very good. We stayed a week two years running and then 3 nights in 2010. It was spotless and the my husband still says they were the best beds he ever slept on in Orlando and as you can see from my signature we have stayed in places that are meant to be far fancier that the Quality Suites. It was a great base for touring the parks and on our first 2 trips we really were only in our rooms to sleep. The shuttle was very good and we did use it although we had a car. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the first year we really took advantage of the managers reception although I am not sure they do that anymore. Its a great location and very quite, be sure to ask for a room away from the main road at the back.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would definitely stay again for a few nights if Bonnet Creek was booked up.
Look out for deals as in 2010 we booked via Travelzoo for $49 a night for a one bedroom suite. bargain!
