Quality of beach towels at Disney Store and WDW...

I think the ones we purchased at Castaway Cay were more like $30 each.

To the PP who asked about towels & Beach Club - at the deluxe (and I think the mods too) there are towels at the pool. At the values, there are not.

Wow I can't believe the difference in towels bought at Disney Store. I bought 2 for my grandson recently and the quality is very good, much better than WalMart or Target. And, I only bought them because they were priced at $4 each, so not a bad deal for good towels IMO.

The Beach Towels I purchased a year ago at EPCOT were about $30.00 each. I wish they had only been $20.00. With 9 Grandkids it adds up fast-) Since we have our own pool, we buy new WDW towels every other year. I have one from RIVER COUNTRY that still looks pretty good.

We just bought the promo beach towels... spend 20.00 get the towel for 12.95. they are navy and red with Mickey on them. love them!!

In this case we may only purchase one beach towel as a souvenir and just plan on packing a couple more beach towels than we were originally planning to pack

I stocked up at the Disney Store when they were on sale a couple months ago for $7. So far I've been super impressed with their quality.

Does anyone know if they have Lion King/Simba towels at AK or AKL? I frequently search for any and all LK merchandise while I am at WDW and after reading this thread I now want a WDW towel (and hopefully they have a LK or at least a tree of life themed one)
