Over the years we've dined at CRT many times, for breakfast and for dinner. Next week we're taking my 18 yr old great-niece who is a WDW newbie and one of our meals is breakfast at CRT.

:surfweb: So my question is not about the "value" or price, but rather just whether the food itself is decent or not. By looking at the menu I can guess that we'd all be ordering the steak & eggs. How has it been? Anyone ordered this recently? What would you recommend to order? :scratchin

Thanks in advance. :thanks:

Can you get bacon with your caramel apple stuffed french toast??

1) The food quality is average or slightly below average.
2) Remember, the concentration is on characters and location, not food.

NOTE: In our opinion, the food went downhill when the change was made from King Stefan's to CRT, and has not regained the quality.

OP here! :wave2:

We got back a week ago, and I'll give my mini review now.

The food was great! The pastries were all fresh and delicious. The Mickey-shaped blueberry muffin tops were fun and moist and tasty. Our server was great; he was always refilling our water and juice glasses, and asking us when we wanted more coffee.

I ordered this:

Beef Tenderloin and Egg
Potatoes and Cheese Frittata with Broccolini and Boursin Cheese Sauce and Chive Oil

It was excellent! The tenderloin was cooked properly and was very, very tender; the frittata was delicious. We were so glad that we booked this for our great-niece, and for ourselves. It was really fun to dine in the castle again.

Wow, that all looks good! Question: Did you order your tenderloin medium-rare? Because that's how I would like mine to be cooked.

I ordered it "medium" and it was very tender and tasty. ::yes::

My husband ordered the same thing, cooked the same way, and his looked exactly like mine.
