We started with breakfast at the hotel. Hint: make sure you get there before 8am - after this the queues start to build - by 9am they are at least 100 people deep! Breakfast choices at the DLH inc. meats, fruit, toast, eggs, croissants, waffles, cooked breakfast and cereals. Plus a multitude of drink choices.....hmmmm.

This morning the children were greeted by Geppetto, Pinocchio and Mickey. They were taking official pictures with the three witches (mice - don't know the proper names!).

Today was a day for the Disney Studio. We started at the Tram Tour (10 min wait). This was not as good as I expected - I think I have way too much hype! Then straight on to Animagique (first time for us). We had front row seats. It was truly fantastic and even my eldest DS (who does not enjoy audience participation) clapped his hands to the music - we will try and see this again before we leave.
We moved from Animagique straight to the Stunt Show. It was pretty cold sat in the stands (thankfull for my thermals at this point). The show was very good - very cleverly choreographed. We then managed to watch the Studios parade while DH (the nice one) went on the Rock n Rollercoaster. He came back with legs trembling but said he would do it again. The Narnia photo-backdrop is still here so the boys sat on the ice throne for pics (too many pushy parents here).

Annettes for lunch - we had burgers and hot dogs (with fries) and drinks - total of 56euros. Good value for nice food. I had expected to see roller-skating staff but they were not.
Then on to the park. It was now 3.10pm so we got an early spot for the parade and sat in the winter sun. I bought the boys pads and pens and they sat and scribbled as DH and I people watched as the world went by. It seems that the crowds have wised up since my visit last year. Last year all those sat on the edge of the pavements all stood up when the parade started (meaning that the people behind - especially the little ones - couldn't see). This year ALL the seated people at the front stayed sitting - so pretty much everyone had a good view. I took over a 100 pics of the parade (great as always) and DH videod it. The Mary Poppins float, which was out of action on our last visit, was back again.

We went back to DLH for 40 minutes to freshen up and then on to the Wild West Show. Both DS's moaned about having to wear hats and said they wanted to go swimming instead!!! (GRRRRR) By the time the show started eldest DS was happy and cheerfully clapped along. DS (4) did not enjoy quite as much. The show was good - the food was pretty poor. DH & I got fully immersed in the pantomime atmosphere with some VERY loud Yee-haws, boo-ing, clapping and table banging!!! I think to get the most from this show you really have to be prepared to play along with it and wave your hat like a pro! There were some people looking extremely glum and not taking part at all. IMHO once you have paid the money you might as well make the most of it - even if you do come out with a sore throat!!

We came back to the hotel and while DH used his laptop, I took the boys swimming. The DLH pool is nice and clean but the only downfall is that is is deep (up to my neck) and all one level. It is not easy to take more than one child swimming if you are on your own.

And so ends another day!!!

Reading that made me wish it was a week ago and we were back to being excited about our trip the next day!

I too was disappointed not to see staff on roller skates at Annette's. Our waiter was great though and even gave me a free pin when I couldn't decide between that or the mug! :thumbsup2

Hope you continue to enjoy your holiday, sounds like you're having a great time!

Great report.
Totally agreed about Wild West Show. We had front row seats with our 3 and grandparents. The adults came out with hoarse voices :teeth:
