QSDP for split stay

We are doing a split stay, 2 nights at POP and 8 nights AKV. Paying OOP for meals. I just thought about the possibility of doing the QSDP for our first 2 nights, with the thought of the RFID mugs are included, thus after doing the math is a great value for a 2 night stay. I am pretty sure that we can just do a length of stay on the mugs, but not completely sure. We had a 5 night stay with FD in September and did the length of stay.

So 2 questions:
1. Would we be able to do length of stay on the mugs
2. DH and I have AP, dd's have 10 day tickets.

Book it as a ticketless package for AP holders and you will not have to buy any additional tickets.

I dont use the mugs, so I'm not clear on that one.

I would have, except with FP+ we needed to buy the tickers for our daughters to schedule FP+

You already have the tickets, so you don't want to book a package unless it is a ticketless AP package. If you book a package to get DDP and it's not an AP package, you'll have to buy everybody at least 1 day tickets.

Unless you made the reservation through DVC Member Services for Pop Century, you must purchase some sort of package to get a dining plan.

So I did call WDW, and my CM needed to speak with her supervisor. Yes, we can get the DDP for our 2 nights at POP, and can use our mugs for length of stay.
