QS restaurants worth visiting?

We use the vast majority of our snack credits for breakfast as sliced fruit cups, yougurt, dry cereal, etc. Anything left tends to go to Karamell Kuche @ the German Pavilion to take home and Dole Whip floats whenever the mood hits at the parks or Poly.

As a pp said easy place to use QS is Epcot. Get what you want and no need to make a decision ahead of time. None of my party liked the egg/pork rolls sold from the food truck outside the China Pavilion though.

So far at MK, we bought a turkey leg @ Tortuga Inn and salad at the Liberty Sq Market. One of each served 2 of us for a light meal. I think each item qualified for QS but am not sure since we were OOP at the time. Since we have stayed at monorail hotels in the past I try to avoid eating in MK. Early in, back to the hotel for lunch and/or a nap then back to MK later in the day.

AK: Harambe Market; always something to try from Flame Tree

HS: Catalina Eddie's has a decent Caesar salad and you can have chicken added if you like. Right next door is Rosie's All American which serves a park style burger w/ lettuce and tomato. CE and Rosie's share outdoor seating under the shade so you can order from either and sit together. ABC Commissary has a nice roast chicken and if you like wet ribs they offer that as well. Nice to sit in an A/C spot when the weather is humid.

My favorites:

MK - Columbia Harbor House and Pecos Bill

EP - La Cantina de San Angel and Yorkshire Fish and Chips (and Festival booths, when present)

AK - Satu'li Canteen and Flame Tree Barbecue

HS - Backlot Express (not thrilled with it, but its ok)

Honestly, most of the QS I've tried falls somewhere between Meh! and Blech! BOG Lunch and Satu'li Canteen are the best of the QS place I've trie. They're comparable quality to what I might get outside Disney. The Epcot Food & Wine Festival is a great option if you are there while its going on. There is some really good food at that.
  1. Great: BOG Lunch (MK), Food & Wine (Epcot)
  2. Good: Satu'li Canteen (AK), McDonald's (All-Star Resorts)
  3. Above Average Disney: Liberty Inn (Epcot), ABC Commissary (MGM), Backlot Express (MGM), Electric Umbrella (Epcot)
  4. Meh! (Average Disney): Pinnochio Village Haus (MK), Cosmic Ray's (MK), Columbia Harbour House (MK)
  5. Blech! (Below Average): Casey's Corner (MK)
  1. Places I would definitely eat even if I wasn't at Disney (assuming non Disney pricing)
  2. Places I might eat even if I wasn't at Disney (assuming non Disney pricing)
  3. Places I probably would not eat at outside Disney unless they had more menu options
  4. Places I definitely would not eat at outside Disney
  5. Places I won't eat at even in Disney.

Thanks for the responses guys! I have a lot of menus to check haha. I am hoping to try Woody's Lunchbox seeing as how we will be arriving after Toy Story Land will have opened. Maybe it will bring something good to HS.

Which hotel are you staying at?

We are going to be at POP Century. I've heard that among the Value resorts they have a pretty good food court. However I don't see us eating there much anyway.

We really like Katsura Grill in Japan for a QS credit, and Boulangerie in France for snack credits. Usually end up in Cosmic Rays for the rotisserie chicken at the MK (and find it perfectly serviceable).

Captain Cook's is my favorite resort QS but only for lunch or dinner. My SO flat out refuses to do a QS breakfast.

MK - BOG, Columbia Harbor house, Pecos Bills
EP - Tangierine Café, Sunshine Seasons
AK - Flame Tree, Yak and Yeti
HS - I like to take the boat over to the Boardwalk

Polite Pig Disney springs
Flame Tree AK
Colombia Harbor House MK
Pecos Bills Mk
D luxe Burger Disney Springs
Capt kooks at the poly
Japan in Epcot
