Can someone please explain using QS credits at the Food & Wine Festival. How does this work? I have seen the menu boards and most of the items have the dining logos next to them. Do you get so many items to equal a meal? If so do they all have to purchased from the same booth?

Sorry if this has been asked before I searched before I posted.

Thanks!

1 QS credit can be converted to buy 3 snack credit items. All three items must be in the same transaction (so same booth).

No alcohol when you convert to snacks. No alcoholic drinks are snack credit eligible. You are exchanging the QS credit (meal+drink) for 3 snack credit items.
is this worth doing? I was looking at all the menus and I am not sure there are any booths where I will actually want 3 items...

If you don't want 3 items, then no, it is not worth doing. Just use your regular snack credits for the items you truly want. You get 2 snack credits per person per night of stay and can use them all in one day at F&W if you so choose.

I am planning to go next year as a group so we plan to combine. So for Canada, we will need 2 steaks and 2 cheese soups so one person will use a quick service on that booth (plus a snack). The next booth someone from the other room will pay.

Unless things have changed since they first started allowing this, you may have to revamp that plan. One person trying to redeem both a QS and a snack credit might result in some mistakes. Rule of thumb has been to do this in two separate transactions: one for the QS and one for the snack. They can probably tell them to do it that way, but make sure on receipts that it is done so.

Last year we had to do two transactions for this. The same person can "pay" but it's best to order say 2 steaks and 1 soup, tap MB get receipt. then order another soup, tab MB get receipt. then get the food. The one or two times we did it the other way the credits got messed up.
