QS Dining Plan if eating at Disney Springs a lot and my teen DGD paying for her meals.

We're headed back to WDW for 6 nights June 3rd! Our group will be me and my BFF and my 15yo DGD and her BFF. Staying at OKW. Trying to decide if I should add QS DP or not. I've only got a couple ADRs booked for table service because I want this trip to be more flexible. (as flexible as a WDW trip can be anyway)

1. Since we're staying at OKW 1BR I'll have a few groceries delivered just in case we get stuck in the room due to rain. (No indoor hallways to go get food and June is a rainy season I think.)

2. We want to try out some of the new-to-us dining places at Disney Springs and it doesn't look like some of the QS places accept the dining plan.

So due to 1 & 2, it appears a dining plan may not be a good idea. The reason I'm still considering it is because my DGD and her BFF may not be with me and my BFF at all meals. (I'm going to give DGD15 who has been many times a little more freedom this trip.) There will probably be times when they'll want to stop for meals without me and it would be easier if they could pay using the MB. If I didn't get DP and just went OOP I'd have to give DGD charging privileges. Not sure if I can set it up to just give her privileges at dining places or not. I trust her, but I'm just used to having more control I guess.

What would you all advise?

I'm fairly certain all the QS places at DS accept the plan. Where do you see that some do not? Where are you thinking of eating there?

I'm going by AllEarsNet menus.lol She usually notes if they accept DP or not. Polite Pig isn't noted. Neither is Hangar Bar. Maybe I should be looking somewhere else for a reference??

I found the official list and Polite Pig is on there. Looks like most of them do take it. Thanks! Feel better now.

Hangar Bar isn't a QS restaurant, it's a lounge/bar. No dining plans accepted (same as Trader Sam's/Nomad Lounge/etc).

I don't think you can set up a restricted charging priviledge. WE gave my DGD charging priviledges but did nto try to divide where she could use her band.

You know your DGD, so you know if you can be comfortable allowing her to use her band in the manner you expect her to use it. If you are not sure, I would suggest a gift card. She should be able to use it everywhere for her food.
