I'm looking for a few solid examples of how to make the "most" (financially) out of the Universal Dining Plan. This will be our first time at UO (staying on-site for 5 night)

With a cost of $22 + tax, I'm looking for some ideas to see if it will work for us vs. OOP. I'm not really certain it will - so your creative ideas are appreciated!

I buy the plan When eating
At the 3 B's
Oder the ribs dinner or rib chicken combo plate and come out ahead
Beverage included with meal deal

Also have used it starting with Louie

Use the snack and beverage later during my stay
Coupons are valid up to 14 days once purchased with the used meal deal

Butterbeer counts as a snack! I recommend picking an expensive snack option not one of the lesser expensive ones.

We are looking at the QS plans too, leaning towards the one with the mug option. Are there any lists showing what meal/snack options you have to choose from or is it just a set monetary limit per day?

you can pull up the list on the UO site
options and snacks are on it.

Unless I am overlooking an option, I am only seeing a eatery list, not a menu item list.

i can't pull up a lot of stuff on my iphone.
i'll try to bring the list over here.

be aware that i usually screw up in the field of electonical things......

i know i have some of the dining set up in the quick access links sticky

go to quick access links sticky

click on dining entertainment.

Any discounts in quick service plan with an AP?
There are no standing deals. However, last september there was a monthly perk of BOGO half off. That's only happened that one time to my knowledge though! Wish they'd bring it back.

Next question (kill me later lol) Is everything on the menu for the locations above included in the QS choices or are you limited to select items? I was reading over on another site, which shall not be named, and it made it sound as if you only had a few choices at each QS location to choose from.

i've used the snack option for butterbeer, croiss bakery in port of entry, ben and jerry, single scoop cup, dipping dots at the carts, popcorn carts, boulangeirie, the list goes on.

if an item is not considered a snack, then you can't use it that way.

butterbeer is considered a snack and not a beverage.

if you walk in to a place and they have sweets that are $10 each, don't expect to use the snack option for that.
i usually aim for a snack that is about up to $5ish to use the coupon.
find using it for butterbeer is worth it.

i have not been to the parks since last october.
if anything has changed, i'm not aware of it.
but last fall, there were a lot of options to choose from.

anything that was $2.25 or under, i paid cash and held on to my snack coupon to use on more expensive items.

i always do the counter service dining at two places and use the snack/beverage options later during my stay.
i'm there for two weeks so they do not go to waste.

there are snacks that i always buy in the parks.
could be what i consider favorite snacks, might not be yours.
when that happens, it could seem to you that options are limited with the snack coupon on the dining plan.
