Qantas Lounge access with Admirals Club membership?

Ooooh the qantas first lounge in sydney is supposed to be very impressive- how can I scam entry into there, I am too old to be someone's escort! : (

We will see how it goes - we are not prisoners, can always leave and find maccas , but you know how us dis'ers like to be super organised about everything!

Occasionally you can find a pass for sale on eBay. It's not cheap though!

One thing I do wonder though, do they tend to have enough of a variety of foods and do they stock drinks for the kids or just a bar?

Hi we used the Delta lounge at Orlando and LAX.

For breakfast at Orlando there was bagels, cereal, toast etc.

At LAX (we spend about 8 hours lounging, showering and sleeping in there) they only served snack food.

ETA: we used the QANTAS domestic lounge when we arrived back in Sydney - ate way to much vegemite toast. DD is no a 'lounge junkie' and could not imagine travelling without them.

Yes one 30 day membership allows your spouse and and your under18 children.

Not sure, but to be safe I would buy it as late as possible, allowing it to cover your whole holiday including any possible delays.

The 30 days start from the day you buy it, leave it to the day before you fly out. Just print a copy of your receipt and they will let you in at the qantas lounge.

Thank you. Have you done this before? I would love to hear from anyone who has got into sydney international buisness qantas club using the 30 day pass for the first leg of their trip with Qantas. The second flight the same day is with AA from DFW to MCO. Would love to use both! Also there appears to be four AA clubs at DFW. Does anyone know if the one near the gate leaving for MCO has showers....I know we would love a shower before boarding then straight into our beds at MCO Hyatt

wow this seems like a great deal!! im flying out of melbourne next week to LAX-DFW-MCO,wont be enough time to use it in DFW but maybe in MEL and LAX, would be good for breakfast in MEL
Can anyone confirm if able to use in Melbourne? and on the return MCO-LAX I assume would use the AA lounge in LAX before boarding the QF flight would be ok/
Also, definitely only need 1 membership to cover 1 adult and 2 children (5 and 7yrs?)

seems to good to be true!! im worried if i buy it i will get to Melbourne airport next week and they wont let me in!
been trying to read some aussie flying forums but its all a bit vague! some have had no problem, others have had to do a lot of explaning to be able to use it
