Good morning, everyone! I have a question regarding the "sand" in the Stormalong Bay pool complex. When we first stayed there in January of 2005, it seemed like there was A LOT more sand in the bottom of the pool. My family remembers that there were no places where you could see the bottom, so the entire pool bottom was covered with sand.
I assume that over the years, grain by grain, people have accidentally taken the sand out of the pool in swimsuit pockets, cleavage (for some of us!
) and even hair (my kids love to dump the sand in their hair!).
Does anyone know if Disney plans to replenish the sand supply? We miss it!
