Hi,
I am thinking of returning to college after a long absence. I am thinking of a new career in the medical field and would require Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2. My q is in reality, how difficult are these clases? I have always avoided Aand P because I know it is one of the toughest courses you can take in college.?????? Thanks!

Um, well thats tough, because it honestly depends on the school you attend. A and P will always, in my opinion, be a tough course. Just make you study hard for it and everything will work out well! :)

A&P is hard, but not because it is a lot of memorization, you need to memorize a ****load of stuff, so if you can do that well, youll be golden. if you want to prep for it now start learning all the bones and the markings and all the muscles with functions and origin/insertions. if you can do all of that, you should have a good jump on the class.

At lot also depends on which college you go to some are much harder than others. I really enjoyed A & P in High School, but I couldn't imagine trying to take it in college!!! UGH!! Good luck though:)

First of all, it's partially a psychological thing: if you go into a class expecting it to be the hardest class ever, it probably will be. That said, it may also cause you to study a lot, which in A&P is totally necessary.
I reccommend:
1) Get involved in your labs - it helps. Pay a lot of attention.
2) I have terrible study habits, but I focused for my A&P classes and kept up with the material, and ended up doing well. You have to keep up with it.
3) Hopefully your textbook will have an interactive CD Rom or a correlated website - USE THESE! A lot of the time there are quizzes, etc., and it helps IMMENSELY!
