Q about the Yatchsman Steakhouse

I have a few questions abou the YS. Is it on the DDP? Is it okay to take Children, or would that be frowned upon? It really looks Yummy!

I don't know about DDP, we always use the DDE card for it. And yes, there are kids there. As long as they are reasonably well behaved, I'd say it is no problem taking your kids. The food is very good!

YSH is on the DDP and it is a signature restraurant, requiring 2 TS credits for each diner. There is a dress code as all signature restraurants require it. I've always wanted to try this one and had planned to last month, but we ate at Narcoosees and liked it so much that we ate there a second time that trip and cancelled our YSH ADR. One day we'll try it....Maybe October.

I will either try it this trip and have Grandparents babysit the kids or I will try it next trip when DS is old enough for babysitting service. He is pretty good at resaurants now, but there is always that off day when he is not and I would hate to ruin other diners experience at a restaurant like that.

It does look really good.

We ate there in Dec. 05. It was really good, it is laid back and there was several tables of families. We didnt take DD, she was at the neverland club.

We wore black jeans / capris for me. with collared shirts and were very comfortable, not over/ under dressed.

It is 2ts on the plan, but well worth it! Our steaks were done to perfections and we shared the chefs dessert plate at the end. It was a wonderful meal for us!

We chose it as we wanted an adult meal but arent really dress up people. This is a very comfortable steak house look inside.

We brought my 1 yr old who slept the majorty of the time. She woke up kind of cranky and within 30 seconds we brought her outside until she was in a better mood.

Well behaved children are welcome at YSH.

Poorly behaved adults are not.

I have brought my DGD twice and she was fine there. I saw quite a few families with children, and the wait staff does a wonderful job accommodating them.

YSH is our favorite restaurant on Disney Property, in fact we just ate there Monday night. All 3 of us had the filet's and they were wonderful. We did see children there but I didn't really hear them. The only thing that they asked DH to do was to remove his hat, which he had planned on doing so anyway.
