Q about kids areas at Flower & Garden

Hi!

I was on the official Disney website and read about some kids areas at the Flower and Garden Festival in Epcot. For some reason, I couldn't get the map to open. Where is the maze located? I would love to hear about experiences that anyone has had with the kids activities.

We didn't do a lot of the childrens activities when we were there with DD2 this year. She made a butterfly out of coffee filters and piper cleaners outside of the butterfly garden and we let her play on the play ground. She was asleep when we got to the maze and it was pretty crowded. Hope that helps some. Did you check AllEarsNet and the planning part of this site? You should be able to find some info there. Have a great trip!!

The maze is just inside the World Showcase. When you enter the WS go right (headed toward Canada) just before the first country and across from a gift shop is a path that leads to the maze. You can see it from the walkway.

The maze is really geared to little kids up to about five. In fact there is a little playground area with a slide and a sign there says "For children 3-5 years old" -- it is cute though, there is a sandbox type area with cute Goofy and Mickey scarecrows. The maze isn't all that big, but the little kids I saw there loved it.

There is also a climbing thing right outside Minnie's Butterfly garden, my niece is six and she loved it, she climbed all the way to the top.

Minnie's Butterfly Garden is really nice, it isn't all that big either, but my niece loved it too, there were butterflies everywhere and beautiful flowers. It is right outside the Mouse Gear store on the way to the enterance to World Showcase.

The maze is on the walkway between the Internationnal Gateway ( the walkway nearest to Canada) and Journey to Imagination.

There is also a play area after the butterfly garden.
