Help! My wonderful next door neighbor just gave me a bunch of turnip and mustard greens and I don't know how to put them up. Didn't have time to ask her as I was on the way out the door and I have to do it tonight because I'm on the way to Disney in the morning.

Any ideas??

TIA
Heather

If it's a lot, you don't have time.:lmao:Greens take forever to clean but if you really want to freeze them first you need to wash them very well because they get so much sand and grit in them. Then, normally I blanch them for a minute or two in boiling water and then plunge in ice water before draining. Squeeze as much water out as you can and then freeze in ziplocs or use a Foodsaver. Good luck! Wish I lived closer and I could take them off your hands for you.:goodvibes
