This year seemed like the perfect year to go to WDW for xmas break. DS has a long break this year and the resort pricing is going way up next year. But we were there in April and Dh felt like we'd just been there. I want to go when he's more excitied about going, so we decided to wait til 2008. Plus we have family in Fla. we'd like to see for xmas and next year is better for them.

What day does it REALLY get crowded? If we arrived the 18th and stayed til the 22 or 23rd, do you think we'll miss the really big crowds? Christmas is on a THurs. next year. We're hoping for WIldnerness lodge. The price will really jump, but I think I'd rather wait til it seems more special to everyone in the family.

I just have to avoid those Travel Channel Disney xmas specials! I think I'll cry!

Thanks.

Hi,

Although the term "big crowd" is subjective, you will surely miss the "biggest crowds" if you elave by the 22nd. It will probably start getting very busy on the 20th (Saturday before Christmas) but the biggest crowds are always between Christmas and New Year's.

My personal observation is the crowds tend to pick up a lot starting around the 23rd. Wierd.

Thanks. Since the discounts codes were over on the 23rd this year and in some previous years, I had a feeling that the 23rd was when it really started getting busy. We're been there Easter week a couple times. I'm hoping it's not any worse than the latter part of Easter week.
