Put your shoes on!!!

Oh. My. God. I was on the metro with my dd8 this morning. We were headed away from the city so it was a near empty train. I look over at the lady across the aisle from us just as she is taking her shoes off and then, she puts her now COMPLETELY BARE feet onto the seat diagonal from her. EWWWWWWWWW! I was stunned. Who does that? People sit in those seats and don't want athletes tush!!! She was completely oblivious to my slack-jaw and confused stare. I just don't get it....

If you think that's bad, I won't even tell you what I saw a guy doing on the rapid. Feet would have been no problem!

People do some skanky stuff on the bus, that's for sure. One of the many reasons I'm glad I drive.

While I have no problem going barefoot at home, I don't do it in public. Eeew.

Don't come to NYC; did you know the homeless people sleep on the trains? Pee on the trains? Spit on the trains? And they don't bathe, through no fault of their own. I don't think the sight of someone's bare feet would put me over the edge.

I've seen people flossing their teeth in public. Eeeww! stuff flying out of their mouth!

In the Spring and summer time I am constantly harping on the kids people bring to my barn to put their shoes on. NOthing grosser than running barefoot around a horse farm.
