Hello there, i’m new here.
I was hoping to ask for some advice from monorail experts. I found a purple line monorail toy set in need of some repairs. When I got it, the sound worked (may have sounded a little warped), and the red on/off light continuously flashed on top of the train car. Nothing else worked at all, no movement, no front lights. I carefully opened it up and despite being careful, one wire was definitely disconnected, another may have been done by me. I imagine this is what killed the sound before it did not come back on. My husband helped me solder the wires back which I have circled in a photo. It was the purple and green wires. Despite soldering them back, nothing changed and the sound didn’t come back nor did it create any movement.
I’m nervous to keep tinkering at it while trying not to make anything else worse. Does anyone have advice for me as to next steps?
